Kind of the same as I had imagined when reading her parts, but I imagined her...brighter.

Either way I can't wait. More slapping of Joffrey!

That sounds more like fantasy, haha. I was thinking more along the lines of an evil Disney queen.

Physically, she wouldn't be bad! Her voice is a bit too sweet and "squeaky" for this role though. Of course, I haven't seen her in anything other than Mad Men and leaked pictures.

Personally the image i had in my head of Melisandre is close to what they're going with, but I had Emily Blount in my head as the actress.

I'm really looking forward to this season. I was lukewarm to season 1 until after I read the book, largely because this isn't a genre that I am interested in. But after reading the book and watching season 1 as I read. I am really excited about this, I got bogged down with school, but I have about 100 pages left in ACOK. I think I am gonna time it so that I finish the book early afternoon on April 1.

All five of the books are brilliant, but A Clash of Kings is my personal favorite. Can't wait to for this to start, such a great series. The TV show does it every bit of justice too.

Also, if you hated Joffrey before he's in super troll mode now.
