I've been watching the REAL 3 Stooges on various channels. It's such a classic, it should've never been messed with. But that's a desperate Hollyweird for ya.

Ask the makers of the "Arthur" remake how well that worked out for them.....

The fact that it has the Farleys and Larry David connected to it gives me hope, but I just don't trust remakes of classics to be any good...

Did anybody ever go see this? Its playing at the theatre on base this weekend. But I was also invited to a birthday party. Is it worth seeing now or waiting til dvd?

This was actually quite, quite good. Will Sasso does not disappoint and there were several really good lines and play on words a la the classic Stooges. Yes, as in the trailer the plays off of the modernized world were quite evident and I thought done very well. For those worried about the Jersey Snore cast interfering with the overall story line, it didn't happen at all. In fact, since the Stooges made a mockery of them, it was inviting. I was thoroughly entertained and did not see this as bastardizing the original crew at all. The rendition of the boys even as boys was well cast and written. The pratfalls were very much in line with the origins as well.

This was a good silly comedy that kept me entertained throughout. Even the ending easter egg music vid was weird at first, but I bought it.
