OK Guys, ready to pull the trigger on this PC Tonight or first thing tomorrow AM, I am getting all my parts from Newegg(its a matter of convenience). My mom has actually decided to chip in since she needed to get me something for christmas so I am letting her get me the CPU and Cooler.

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K

Case: Thermaltake Chaser MK-I

Ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 1866

GPU: EVGA GTX 680 Superclocked

Mobo:GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD3H I got a combo deal with Windows 7

HDD Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB

SSD: Kingston HyperX 3K

Power: CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750W 80 PLUS GOLD Certified

Controller: NZXT Sentry-2 5.25" Touch Screen Fan Controller

Are the performance gains in the 7970 enough to justify the price jump over the 7870? I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and I have to stay in the AMD family since I'm on a Mac, so my choices are either the 2gb 7870 or 3gb 7970. Not necessarily looking to break the bank, but my 1gb 6000 series card isn't cutting it anymore.

The 7870 vs 7970 is a BIG difference. Just depends on if you want to pay for it or not. The 7870 is no slouch of a card whatsoever.

I have a 7870 and love it. I can't say what the difference between the two might be. I went from a 8800GT that was 5 years old, so the jump was enough for me. Newegg had it for $229 for a couple weeks. I think it's back up to $259. Which is still better then the $329 I paid in June -_-

MineCraft is a joke that people love to say in the tech world. Minecraft isn't demanding at all, any store bought PC or laptop can run that game on high settings.

What do you use if you want to do wireless from one PC to another

Say you have a netgear modem hooked up to a pc in one room but you want the it to transmit internet into another room with another pc

What can you use?

Cheapest and easiest solution would be wireless router and a wireless adapter for the desktop not by the modem.
