Re: Captain America 2
You just know....
SpoilerThat by the end of the movie The Winter Soldier will be revealed to be Bucky Barnes and he'll be a good guy/romantic interest for Black Widow like in the comics.
I'm not against what I typed as happening but if it does play out that way than this movie will kind of be going through the motions for me as i've seen that play out pretty recently (within the last 10 years)Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

SpoilerFrom the title of the film, we also know that Bucky – a character who seemingly fell to his death in Captain America - will be back as well.Last edited by TripleCrown9; 10-26-2013, 01:25 PM.Boston Red Sox

Robert Redford Explains Why He Wanted To Do Captain America: The Winter Soldier: http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/01/...winter-soldier
As the 2014 Sundance Film Festival winds down to a close, the man who founded the event 30 years ago, actor-director Robert Redford, sat down to talk about the festival, this year's films, and some of his own upcoming roles.
One role he discussed was his upcoming stint as Alexander Pierce in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Considering that Redford's last film was the critically lauded All is Lost, a thrilling one-man survival film featuring almost no dialogue at all, one wonders why the 77-year old would choose to follow a tour-de-force with a secondary role in a comic book movie.
“One of the reasons that I did [Captain America: The Winter Soldier] was I wanted to experience this new form of filmmaking that’s taken over where you have kind of cartoon characters brought to life through high technology,” Redford explains. “The Avengers series is a product of high technology playing a major role in the new order of filmmaking so I wanted to experience that—I just wanted to know what that was like and I had that opportunity, so for me it was like stepping into new terrain just to experience what it was like.”
You've got to respect an actor of Robert Redford's caliber who wants to continue stretching himself and pursue new experiences. It's easy for legendary actors to see certain projects as "beneath" them, but Redford displays an earnest desire to learn everything he can about his evolving craft.

Here's the first 10 minutes (might get taken down so watch it quick if you're interested): http://vk.com/video247089797_168116777Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Captain America 2
I actually read an interview with the directors which were kinda spoilery but it seems they went with the political thriller tone with a lot of the normal Marvel action. Apparently that's the major reason Robert Redford was cast in this as they want to harken back to those '70s political thrillers and Redford embodies probably the most famous of them all (All the President's Men)Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Captain America 2
This is easily the best movie Marvel has put out, including Avengers. Even though you knew that most of the people were going to live, the Russo's did a great job of making it feel like any of them could die at any moment. Oh and this is the most brutal comic book movie I've seen in awhile. They typically have bloodless fight/shootout scenes or cut away before something happens but they went as far as they could with a PG-13 rating. I can't wait to see it again.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
