    Re: Uploading to Youtube

Depends on the bit rate you are recording. The higher the bit rate, the better the quality. Same thing goes for rendering, the higher the bit rate you choose to render in, the better it will turn out to be.

Personally I just render my videos as a wmv file.

      Re: Uploading to Youtube

I'm still having tons of trouble getting my videos onto YouTube. It took about an hour and a half to get it from Sony Vegas to YouTube and even when it got to YouTube it just says "processing." I have two other videos "processing" and I'm not really sure what they are.

My video is just under 8 minutes long so I don't see that it should take an hour to get onto YouTube. I have a decent connection so the computer should not be the issue.

Also, the only way I can even get the video sent to YouTube is by clicking on Movie Maker in Sony Vegas and then clicking on upload to YouTube. When I go to YouTube's site and hit upload it just sits there and does nothing whatsoever.

        Re: Uploading to Youtube

dude.......file sizes are huge.....even an 8 minute clip would be over 600mb in size. So yeah it takes a long time to upload to youtube unless you have a very fast upload speed for your internet connect.

I have 6mb upload speed and it took me 4 hours to upload a 1 hr game play clip, with an additional 20 minutes for Youtube to process it. I find it best to upload to Youtube after midnight or early in the morning before 10am. That usually is the slowest time traffic wise for Youtube and stuff seem to move faster.
