Anyone watching VEEP on HBO?

When I first saw the preview for this show I wasn't sure it was for me, but after a few episodes it has easily made it into my Top 5 DVR rotation. Anyone else watching?

The last episode was really great and Julia Louis Dreyfus has been amazing so far, I loved her rant about how people should be waiting to see her and not the other way around.

It's already gotten picked up for a second season I believe.

I could do without it as well, but there aren't many movies or cable tv shows these days that aren't loaded with foul language it seems.

Yeah, never noticed the excessive amount of swearing. Maybe I've just grown numb to cursing on television programs. Thought the swearing was the same as any other HBO show.

I like it a lot, although I do think it's becoming a little one-note with each episode having one major screw-up that makes me wonder how she was even selected as a running mate in the first place.

But her staff consistently makes me laugh, as does Jonas from the white house, so I'm on board.

The concept interests me, looking at the responses here I should take a look at this so i'll watch a couple episodes when I get a chance and give my opinion at a later date.

True, but there seems to be a couple series/season plots getting developed, so that distracts from the new screw ups. It is entertaining and I don't know how I forgot about Jonas, but behind JLD he is the show-stealer.

Only 6 episodes in the first season? That's kind of disappointing as the last episode was amazing.

I'm not very timid about curse words on TV but if they looked "forced" it's just awkward. I saw one episode of VEEP last year and put it to bed (possibly too early), just because it didn't grab me.
