Re: Hatfields and McCoys
I'll be watching this. Good leading actors for both family's with Costner and Paxton. Tom Berenger is in it as well.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Re: Hatfields and McCoys
Pretty famous story. Typically it would be a reference that when people were feuding, others might say something like, "they're fightin' like the Hatfields and the McCoys". Sort of a story that built its' way into folklore like the gunfight at the OK Corral.
Does look worth a viewing.Comment

Re: Hatfields and McCoys
This sounds interesting, I'll have to watch this somehow as its showing on History Channel and most of their programming takes a long time to get up here.
The only thing that irks me is that Kevin Costner is doing the soundtrack.....Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Hatfields and McCoys
History is probably my most watched channel while football is in it's off season, so this show is a must watch for me. Really interesting story for anyone who doesn't know it, the Hatfields fought for the confederacy and the McCoys fought for the union. Blood shed began between the two neighboring families after one of the McCoy's was killed when he was discharged from the war early due to injury. All hell broke lost from there. Should make for a real interesting mini series.Comment
