Dan Patrick and Howard Stern for me

I would sneak my radio into bed and fall asleep with it on every night. I then couldn't find where he had moved to. A few years ago I was told about The Fan, so on my way home I turned it on and who did I hear, Arnie Spainer. He got the shaft with the overnight gig, show was entertaining, just hard for me to listen to. I'll have to check out what he is doing in Buffalo.

My favorite show currently is the Scott Van Pelt show. Used to be a huge Rome fan but it started to get stale and boring while the chemistry between Van Pelt and Russilo is top notch IMO.

If I'm home I'll watch Colin Cowherd's show on ESPN news. Michael Felger and Tony Maserati have the only show I listen to on the radio.

Always listened to Howard Stern and Covino & Rich when I had Sirius.

Bill King from 247 sports with his On Campus show, which is on Sirius/XM. Three straight hours of College Football talk is heaven for me.

Off topic, but interesting side note: both Rush and Stern, considered greats in their respective fields, share the same birthday (Jan 12).

Can't get much more minimum than what we were already doing, no?

Hendrie doing the multiple characters in a debate/interview along with an unsuspecting caller is amazing. He makes it look so easy.

Gary Burbank was a master as well. The characters he's pulled off are just incredible, with Gilbert Gnarley leading the way. I remember one time he was calling a place and they wanted him to spell his last name:

"That's 'Gnarley'. 'G' as in ....'Gnarley'; 'N' as in ...... 'Gnarley' ". Don't know how he pulls it off.

Here's some classic Gilbert Gnarley. He really makes it believable:

I love Arnie just for his hatred of the Lakers. I don't even know where I can listen to him nowadays. Used to love listening to him back in the One-on-One Sports days.

He was on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas for the last three years. His last show here was this past Friday. He has moved to buffalo.

Arnie used to do mornings in LA, right? Did you used to listen to Newy Scruggs?

Arnie is just an awesome, entertaining host.

Never listened to him here actually. Don't know who Scruggs is either.

Maybe I can listen to his Buffalo show online.

Is he still obnoxious about the Mets though? Never liked that, lol.

Don't really listen to much talk radio. When I do, I like Waddle and Silvy on ESPN 1000 Chicago. Does This American Life count? I love that show.

All I listen to is NPR ... Morning Edition, ATC, Car Talk, DRS, and Wait, Wait are my go to shows. Every now and again I'll flip over to either The Bob and Tom Show in the mornings, or the Dan Dakich Show during IU basketball season.

Nah, I understand. I think his brand of humor is extraordinarily dry, so you have to enjoy that humor.

Sometimes, he does more than one or two.......I've heard him do the voices of: Two guests, a caller, and his in studio sidekicks, all at the same time.. Lmao!!!!

I call him the ventriloquist(sp) of radio.

As for me, I listen to Howard Stern every morning and Rush Limbaugh/Sean Hannity in the afternoon. Of those three I prefer Limbaugh the best but it's very close Stern second and Hannity third.
