At least it's not like Fox.....3 weeks of shows not airing(Sunday) cause of MLB. It was originally supposed to be only 2 weeks, but then Fox made it 1(cause they didn't expect playoff game to happen this past sunday), then had to move it back to 2 weeks, now with the WS, its at 3.


Guess it was smart decision to have Halloween specials when they did. It was the earliest the Simpsons halloween special had ever aired, but it's better than November Halloween specials(like what Fox did for like 10 or so years)

This season does seem to be dragging on so far. HIMYM(and for the most part, CBS in general) doesn't seem to be the best when it comes to relationship storylines.

I watched first minute and I thought I recognized this part lol.

Don't think any show is gonna have new episodes today or what? Not just cause of storm coverage, but tv ratings would be horrible too cause many people will either have no power, or have more important things to do at a time like this, than watch tv.

Glad it was a rerun. Sandy has knocked HD locals out to basically all DTV subs on the east coast. This happened between 7-8PM and I wasn't watching a local channel, so I didn't know until I went to watch the recording.

First time in 3 weeks, new episode tonight!

Only good thing about last weeks episode not airing until this week...now we'll likely see episodes every single monday from now, until the christmas/new years break.

Strange...cause it sounded real weird for me. I changed to other channels to see if it was just the channel, and all other channels sounded fine. Even shows after HIMYM on CBS sounded fine.


At times like this episode, makes me wish they did say Robin was Teds wife. Imagine how much more special this show would be, knowing who the wife was the whole time, and knowing it was Robin(based on all the things happening with Ted and Robin), but it also sucks how much they keep bringing up Ted-Robin stuff when we know that they don't end up together.

Hopefully it's the last we see of Victoria, and hopefully there's no more other Ted girlfriend stories unless it's his wife. And Marshall seems to be doing almost nothing as of late. Could it be cause the producers know he doesn't wanna come back for season 9, so they're just slowly writing him out of the show?

so hopefully after that, we finally get back to the main story. As of now, only real stories left to have is just leading to Robin-Barneys wedding, and then how Ted met his wife.
