Re: The Following - TV Series

Most times there is a definite reason why they have people working for them: money. Besides that, when did action movies become the reality barometer of a TV drama?

This show is really overwhelming any suspension of disbelief I can muster for it.

I think things could start to get interesting between Emma, Paul, and Jacob now that she ditched them.

Still loving this show. Wow, and for once it wasn't the creepy/scary one that I had to be on the edge of my seat for. I like that things started to 'seem' to unravel - but then get shut in your face. I think Hardy's breakdown at the end really was the true unraveling of just how monumental this cult/following is.

Can't go wrong with this show. Things are predictable in some cases, but you can't not wonder what Joe has up his sleeve next.

I personally like the show a lot with all the twists and turns with who's in the cult.

Ryan getting in the trios heads was awesome.

I'm still convinced Iceman is a Follower. Even though when he was face to face with Joe, Joe mentioned to him that he had not had the pleasure of meeting him before. Weston had a weird look on his face. Then later when that woman stabbed the security guard she introduced herself to Joe. So she had not met him before either. Hmm. Where the hell was Weston during the whole time Joe held the gun in Ryan's face and then when he was shooting at the helicopter? He is never around when he is needed, ever.

Fox ordered a 2nd season yesterday!

FOX has ordered a second season of the year’s most thrilling new series THE FOLLOWING, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

“From the very beginning, we felt Kevin Williamson and Marcos Siega had created a high-quality, edge-of-your-seat drama that could break from the pack, and it is exciting to see the audience responding,” said Reilly. “Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy have given us two of the most compelling characters on television and the entire cast is incredible. I’m delighted to have this thrill ride continue on FOX for another season.”

After only six airings, THE FOLLOWING is already the No. 2 broadcast drama and the No. 3 drama overall this season with Live+7 ratings. Since it launched, the psychological thriller has also quickly established itself as one of the most buzzed-about series in social media, ranking as the No. 1 new broadcast drama in total social comments.

I'm one episode behind. I like it but it gets too chaotic at times. There are too many twists and turns "with who's in the cult".

I agree...orrrrrr....Ryan is going to kill him to keep Claire safe...muahaha - is that possible?

Great episode; was really hoping Charlie would become best friends with Joey and try to get him out of that cult house. This show gets better with each episode - and next week's looks crazier than ever,ah!

If he still is one of the followers, it might be the dumbest thing I've ever seen on TV. It's impossible to reconcile what we've seen with him being a follower.
