I'm not fully convinced he is dead. Joe could have some how got out. The remains they found could have been the body of the guy he stabbed to death in front of Claire. The dental records could have been doctored by a Follower pretending to be a forensics person. Who knows?

And that's what keeps me coming back. I'm a sucker for twists and turns.

Re: The Following - TV Series

I'm posting a link from an interview with the executive producer of The Following. He did this interview one day after Monday.

        Interesting read.

Please read the last question, that question is why some of you stopped watching and the answer is reasonable.

What did you think about season one? What did you learn? Is it that you like polarizing people?

I don’t know that I’d say we like to polarize people but we completely understand that people are going to be upset about certain things because ultimately we’re just trying to service this story. This is a work of fiction. It’s like reading a good book. My favorite books I buy into the moments that are clearly absurd because I’m invested. We try our best when we hit those moments to not distract from the story in a way where it takes you out of it. Kevin even said last night on the panel, “I’m trying. I’ve learned the FBI needs to be smarter.” He really does think about these things. But we are a serialized show and if the FBI solves everything at the end of every episode there’s no The Following.

Re: The Following - TV Series

Bought Season 1 DVD, so, seeing where they start with the next season. We've all seen Joe in the trailers, so, he'll be in it, but in what capacity?

Emma, is she the new leader?

I know one other spoiler by reading an interview over the took place over the summer, but won't reveal it.

Three good shows for me to watch, Blacklist, The Following and 24.

If Joe is still alive, that will be the last episode I watch.

I kinda still want to watch all of season one especially now that the show survived for another year.

I can't anytime soon so gonna see what the ratings look like for season 2.

From what I'm reading, sounds like I'm gonna have to continue suspending belief more than I'm accustomed to on television.

Darn thrillers being my favorite genre in anything ever.

I know you and I tend to like similar things, so I'll let you know that if you CAN suspend some disbelief and put up with a few "ridiculous" things and some iffy acting from a role or two....it's a damn good show. Fun to watch, Bacon is awesome in it, some good tension. Worth a watch (season 1 is on Netflix, too, which makes it easy).

Yeah I think that's what I will have to accept. But I think Bacon was great in it and I really want to watch it because of him. Might be weird.

It's a good show. It's well done. There's just some things that...well, you have to realize its a show on Fox so it's going to be ridiculous at a few moments.

I loved that FOX started this about 10 mins early, thanks for that, DVRs don't know when you start something EARLY. At least I can plan for it to run long, but I can really do anything for that.

It is being shown again on 1/27 and it is only 1 hour, not the 1.5 like it said in the guide.

Yeah, noticed that. DVRing it for our son in college, and before he left tonight, asked me to make sure I tape the back end of the show because sometimes it runs over. I noticed 6 minutes to the show and started taping the 9:00 oclock hour.

Even though I loathe American football I had it on so I wouldn't miss if it came on early or late.

Pretty interesting episode to kick things off.

The 2 twins are quite the whack-jobs!
