Yah, I mean, it's definitely a two-way street. The stores open because the people show up and the people show up because the stores are open.

Either way, it's really unfortunate for those who have to work it.

Anyway... I could go on forever, but I don't want to completely derail this thread.

I remember a time where the only stores open was Walgreens and CVS on Thanksgiving. Then people were complaining they couldn't get what they needed if they ran out of something. So then they started having grocery stores open on Thanksgiving. Then people complained again and said I wish Walmart and Target was open, they had cheaper prices then the grocery stores. So now every damn store is open.

So blame the people. People asked for it and they got it. No turning back now, the flood gates are busted open.

I'll be getting a tv .. most likely I'll get it from Amazon though as I haven't seen the one 1 want in the ads yet. Sears has a lot of the price controlled models from Samsung on sale, so other stores should follow.

I hope amazon has some blus and TV shows on sale, otherwise I might just pass on BF this year.

$25 for 2k13 at Walmart is really tempting. I'm not sure Amazon would go below $30, nevermind $35. WWE 13 is also really alluring at that price.

They might, considering I bought NCAA 13, Madden 13 and Sleeping Dogs off of Amazon this year for $35. And they had FIFA 13 for $35 on Amazon a few weeks ago.

Does Amazon match BF prices, or just run their own deals? Still need to find out if those deals at Wal-Mart and Target are available online?

Both. Walmart and Target usually have most of their deals online. The "camp out" worthy items are almost always B&M only.

Amazon is going to price match all the retailer stores on their door buster TVs.

Does that explain how they exactly match the price? Will the price match begin Thanksgiving night or Black Friday?

No details yet. Amazon usually does lightning deals that start at different times.

Ex. 3PM deals ....then 6PM deals

And they go until they are gone or the time expires

Too bad I haven't seen a price yet for the TV I want. Samsung will have their ad out on 11/18 though, so hopefully it includes a discounted price.
