    Re: Survivor Caramoan

It will be interesting to hear if Malcom was doing it because he thought he wasn't safe or because he wanted to make one of the most epic moves of all time.

Remember Philip made the comment about if someone in the alliance tries to be sneaky they will be out right away. It was probably clever editing, but Malcom made a face at that comment.

Malcolm played Reynolds idol didn't he? Or did he hang onto it? That was a crazy ending. Safe to say that Malcolm has Reynold in his pocket if he's willing to give Malcolm his idol to keep him from getting voted out.

That was one of the craziest things that I've seen in Survivor, period. Really enjoying this season.

        Re: Survivor Caramoan

Past couple of seasons in Survivor we've seen abunch of crazy things revolve around tribal and immunities.

We saw people go to tribal and not even vote someone off, a tribe who won immunity ended up giving it up and went to tribal themselves, a tribe forfeited the immunity challenge, and then the whole stuff with Malcolm directly telling Reynold right infront of everyone else,to give him the idol.

All of what I listed above, happened in past year(meaning 3 seasons including this one)

I think Malcolm thought they may have voted for him, but didn't want to expose that he had the idol. Malcolm said his vote was a throw away vote, he didn't have the numbers and he knew it. I think he was trying a last ditch effort.

Now though everyone knows the idol is out. They don't have to split the vote and Malcolm doesn't need the numbers. If he plays the idol at the right time, he can flip the game. The rest of the favorites are playing nice, but that is only going to work up until one of them leaves.

            Re: Survivor Caramoan

A few things after I finally watched the episode..

            1. Phillip really needs to be quiet. His dumb "Stealth R' us" isn't funny anymore and is getting pretty annoying. He talks too much during tribal and almost ruined his alliance's plan. Luckily Andrea got paranoid and told everyone to switch up the vote.

            2. What the hell is wrong with Andrea. Seriously? This is her 2nd season, and I'm pretty sure this is the 2nd time she's "fallen in love" with a cast mate. Her line of "I don't know if he is my survivor boyfriend" or something within that line was so stupid, I literally was SMH. Then she almost ruined her plan of getting rid of Malcom when she met up with Eddie after the Immunity Challenge. She almost broke down in tears when he said that he was with her. lol Dumb blondes.

            3. Dawn gets my vote for player of the month so far. I'm hoping she continues her mean streak and keep trying to take out the bigger stronger players. Hopefully she can use her emotions in a way to sway votes for her later on in the game.

            4. I feel that Cochran will go really far this season. When the fans were asking him to vote for them, he immediately knew of their plan. Then when Andrea came running up to him to change the votes to Michael, he had the "You're stupid and paranoid" look on his face. I'm sure he would of said something to calm her down, but I'm thinking he didn't want to rile up feathers and get people confused as to who to vote for.

            5. Malcolm is a very smart player. I really think he did know that Phillip was talking about him, and that he actually thought he was going to be voted out. It was really a win/win situation for him. He wasn't voted out, he got rid of Reynold's idol, and is still in the game with his idol. The big question is what the tribe will say to him once they get back to the island. My thought on the Reynold vote? He knew that his alliance was voting for him. The fans were voting for Andrea. If the one vote was for Reynold he could justify that he was never with the fans to begin with and only came up with the plan to blindside them... By writing down Reynold, he knew that he could come back to the tribe and say he did not vote for Andrea truthfully.

It will be fun to see what happens at next Tribal. If Malcolm plays his idol that nobody knows about, it can definitely be a game changer.

              Re: Survivor Caramoan

Turns out that Michael is actually the first member of the jury!?

How does that make sense. There's 10 people left, meaning jury started at 11. Meaning if it's a 3 person final, there's 8 people in the jury(meaning we could see a 4-4 tie or a 3-3 tie). Though if it's final 2, having 9 people in jury would be interesting(needing 5 to win)

If it is 3 person finale, I really wanna see look on their faces when all this just lead to a tie in the end. Though it won't happen since Survivor rigs stuff(they did it a few seasons ago where it was actually a tie between 2 people in the finals, so they had to get a jury member who voted for the 3rd person, to change their vote)

I think Malcom thought that too. He was right really. Andrea freaked out and successfully got everyone to switch it up, otherwise it would've been a brilliant move and gotten Andrea out.

Meanwhile Reynold knows Malcom has the idol. Unless he wants to really be underhanded, I'm sure they discussed that possibility and now when Reynold needs to be saved, Malcom's idol will appear.

I don't think Malcom ever told Reynold about his idol. I think Reynold told Malcom to gain his trust, but I'm pretty sure Corrine is the only one that knew about Malcom's idol, and she's gone. Unless they talked about it off air.

That's what I thought too. I seem to recall Malcom being surprised Reynold told him about his, and remarking that he wasn't telling anyone that he had one. Something like that.

This is how I remember it...Malcolm pretty much gloating that he knew that Reynold had one, and he's got the other one...which he's keeping a secret...

I'm looking forward to seeing how "camp life" went after THAT (last) tribal...

Reynold wouldn't have given his idol up if he knew Malcom had one of his own.

Based on the video preview of episode tomorrow, seems like they revealed alot of spoilers:

                          About Malcolm/Hidden Immunity
                          Spoiler

                          About who wins individual immunity
                          Spoiler

So sounds like something crazy happened for sure

At the start of the last episode Malcolm even said that Corinne being gone wasnt a huge blow as she was the only one who knew he had an idol and now she was gone so Reynold definitely didnt know.

                                lol ya, crazy/awesome tribal!

Malcolm with two idols! lol so funny how he brings out one and shows ppl he's playing it for himself, then near the end he goes out and brings up his second idol and everyone starts panicking.

Talk about awesome tribals! This reminds me of the last fans vs faves season when Amanda had an idol but nobody else knew about it, and then at last moment she comes up and plays it and changes the end of the game.

Phillip gone, now makes me wonder who's next. Seemed like everyone wanted Andrea out if they had to take out one of their own, so makes me think she'll be next to go? lol, and preview for next episode is funny, especially at the auction where Cochrans like "this happens more often than you think" and Jeff starts laughing.
