Welp, I know i'm late to the show but I just watched the first 3 episodes of it this morning....WHAT HAVE I BEEN MISSING?!?!

Damn, this is nirvana.

Kevin Spacey is excellent, there's just a wonderful way about his cynicism and grinding the gears of legislation/politics to his advantage that is spellbinding to watch. His character reminds me a bit of Lyndon Johnson though their methods are slightly different. There's a coolness to the character when a less skilled operator would wilt.The manipulation of people like Russo and Barnes is just magnificent IMO. I also like that he often breaks the fourth wall either to paint a picture of what's going on or more often, to express his TRUE feelings about something.

Robin Wright is excellent as well and the two of them make for an intriguing power couple. Their dynamic is almost Shakespearean and gives off a bit of a King Lear feel to their marital relations. Everyone else in the cast does a great job though I think the Russo character is a bit miscast as I would expect a slightly less disheveled looking guy.

The thing that really grabs me is just how realistic this show is. Yes, some of the machinations and such are a bit exaggerated and relations in congress seem more akin to the '90s rather than today where it's total gridlock. That being said, this is a very well written show that seems like it has a lot of twists and turns in store. Kevin Spacey truly lives and breathes his character to the point that it's hard NOT to think of him as Frank Underwood in my mind from now on.

As some may or may not know this is based on a British serial (actually 3 of them) and I plan to watch those when the run of House of Cards is over.

I will be watching 3 episodes a day so I can't wait to see everything and where it's heading.

So, now that Frank has achieved the Presidency, where will the show go from here? In many ways, season 1 was about him moving from the House Majority Whip to Vice President and season 2 was about him moving up from VP to President. Will season 3 be about him trying to fend off against adversaries trying to expose his past or will he start to try to consolidate power and try to concentrate power in the Presidency, perhaps becoming a dictator or something similar? I'm curious.

There's also the unresolved issue of Doug Stamper's murder at the end of the season that might cause trouble.

I'm looking forward to it. It sucks we have to wait a year for it!

In many ways, season 1 was about him moving from the House Majority Whip to Vice President and season 2 was about him moving up from VP to President. Will season 3 be about him trying to fend off against adversaries trying to expose his past or will he start to try to consolidate power and try to concentrate power in the Presidency, perhaps becoming a dictator or something similar? I'm curious.

There's also the unresolved issue of Doug Stamper's murder at the end of the season that might cause trouble.

I'm looking forward to it. It sucks we have to wait a year for it!

Apparently, in the original British version of the show, that's his goal. I may have to give the British version a try as I believe Netflix has it. Has anyone seen it?

I'm curious about this as well. I believe Seth said something to the effect of "We already have (some organization) searching for Doug's car." I'm curious to see if that will lead them to Rachel and open up that scab again.

Oh man, what a season. The finale had me shaking and had my fingers going numb just from the journey of how everything from Season 1 to now built up like a crescendo.

Sidenote: Do I remember right that they already said that Season 3 would be the last or am I imagining that?

I've only heard that the season 3 production start date has been delayed. I wonder if that will change the approximate February 2015 season 3 debut to around April 2015?
