I just signed up for a free month trial. I was hoping to stream movies to my Tivo HD, but it requires me to add movies to my instant queue before I can view them.
The problem is that the Netflix website is messed up on my Windows 7 PC. I've tried IE, Firefox, & Google Chrome & none of them work properly. If I hover over a movie picture, nothing pops up. There's no movie description, and no option to add the movie to my instant queue. The big scroll arrows on the left and right sides of the page don't work, and also the movie picture boxes on the right side don't load so they are black boxes with a small icon in the top left corner (like a jpg that didn't load). For some reason all of the other movie picture boxes appear just fine.
The solution offered to me by Netflix customer support is for me to search for movie titles and then use the "+ Your List" option in the list of movies that are returned.
I guess if that's the only way I'm going to be able to add movies to my queue, that's what I'll do, but it would be nice to be able to get the browsing screens working properly.
FYI, I have not disabled pop ups, I'm running Microsoft Security Essentials for my firewall & antivirus, and I just updated Java & the Adobe Flash player to the latest versions. I'm not sure what else I can try to get this working like it apparently does for everyone else.
