Also the staff was annoying and very abrasive.

The episode from Sunday was disgusting and I'm not shocked the owner never paid his employees after John left. Can't he be sued for not compensating them?
My girlfriend and I have made a goal to go to as many bars that have been "fixed" from this show as we can.

We made it to Dougherty's in Philly, and it was just as bad after the show as it was before. We tried to go to "Murphy's Law" when we were in Fells Point, MD this last summer but they were already closed.

We have a trip planned to Chicago this summer and we hope to catch a few there that were on the show but it's fun to try and go to these places.

Make a try to go to the "Chicken Bone" in MA. As has been said, it actually worked. Place has some damn good food most of the time and can be pretty fun to hang out it.

I'd love too, I love how the owners came back for the Pirate Bar episode.

If I can ever come up with time to go out to Fenway again, that will be the second attraction on my list.

There was another bar, LB's bar, I don't know how far from that one it is but I would love to go to both.

Was that the one in Connecticut?

IF you make it out for a Fenway experience, I'll treat you guys to some Chicken Bone action.

I watched a little bit of this show when they were doing the pirate bar.

Honestly, when I saw the pirate bar theme, I thought this show was entirely made up and they decorated this ridiculous themed bar to make it seem like they were making it better on the show.

                I. DID. NOT. KNOW. IT. WAS. A. REAL. BAR.

                Holy Crap!

I always thought this was one of those reality shows that makes everything so outlandish that it wasn't very believable. But reading the fact that these are actual true stories makes me want to watch this show even more..

Anyone know the name of the Chicago bars they renovated?

I could've saved you the trip to "Murphy's Law" lol. I hope you checked out the Dogwatch Bar instead. That's the one opened by their manager after she left them.

                    Re: Bar Rescue

There's a bar in Southern Cali called "On the rocks" that had Bar Rescue.

I went there after the rescue and it was... ok.

Nothing to write home about, but I had never been there before the "Rescue" so I couldn't really compare it.
Had cheap drinks though which is always a + in my book!

                      Another good one tonight,

It's the second one this season in NO and next weeks is in Austin again (where last week's was). I guess he went to cities and did a couple at a time.

Didn't they change the name back to The Chicken Bone, and brought back the whole menu that Taffer had replaced?

...and didn't Angry Ham's change back to that name as well? And similar things with the menu, too.

Yeah both changed names back however I think angry hams is doing good since show so it was worth it for them. I'd have to go there myself to about other stuff.

I can't even watch the pirate bar when it's being rerun...those people are too infuriating. And I say that as someone who doesn't feel that way about any reality shows like this.

BY FAR the dumbest concept I've ever seen or heard. I just don't get it - at all.

I didn't like it being called the Corporate Bar, that was such a drastic change from what they had. Same with changing The Brixton to Rocket Room 6, seemed kind of kiddy. I was happy when he kept the one guys bar slutty and kept the girls in little clothing, just cause it seems like he always goes for the classy rich crowd bar.
