They lost another fish? C'mon. Get that stuff together down there. Call social services or something. That's like Princess Peach never upgrading castle security in the Mario games.

Least it took them 15 years to lose another fish. seems like Princess Peach was getting kidnapped every couple years!

In all honesty, when I saw people posting this on Facebook, I assumed they were all stupid and duped by an April Fool's prank.

          Knowing it's real...is strange.

Seriously, though, Dory? She wasn't even entertaining as a character. I'd rather have an entire movie about Finding the Pelicans and hearing "mine, mine, mine, mine" all the time.

(I'm still there opening weekend, though. Finding Nemo is the **** and Pixar is awesome)

The best thing to happen would be that Dory is missing at the beginning of the movie, and she isn't found by the end...

I find it hilarious that this thread is the exact opposite of how most people I've heard talk about this movie that I know feel about Dory.

Not my favorite character at all from Finding Nemo, but I don't hate her as much as you guys do apparently.

Also, Blzer, I'm with you on The Incredibles 2. Hell, I thought that would have been one of the first candidates for a sequel after Toy Story 3.

Lastly, Fresh, apparently next year's movie is a new Pixar film, The Good Dinosaur. Then they have plans for a film on Dia de los Muertos last I heard.

Well, she's like Mater... exploitable for stupidly childish humor, and detracting from other good qualities that could be in these films.

Granted, Dory had one of the more emotional scenes in Finding Nemo, but when she's thrown in there for giggles, she made me feel as frustrated as Marlon was the entire time.

Agreed. With the way they ended the first one, I had thought for sure that a sequel was already in the works. Apparently not...

And was I really the only person who enjoyed Dory in the first one? Dory speaking whale was easily one of the best parts of the movie for me.

Dory was great. You guys must be drunk. And Mater wasnt terrible, those two whole movies were terrible. I dont think Planes will be all that much better.

Speaking of this, I haven't seen Finding Nemo in years. I think it came out in 2003 when I was 11, so I probably haven't seen it since I was 14 or so. Damn. Maybe I need to watch it again.

Dory and the whale was definitely a good scene.

Part of my dislike for Dory stems from me finding Ellen D's voice incredibly annoying.

I'm sure they'll make it good...Dory as a character was a little annoying, but still good.

I like the Pelicans! We got 2 beach towels at Disney World that say "Mine, mine mine" on them lol Perfect for our new pool.

                              New teaser trailer.

It looks more like this isn't about Dory getting lost, but rather about Dory "finding herself" by digging into her unknown past.

Really not a fan of Dory (much like Mater in Cars, Bing Bong in Inside Out, etc.)... just more of a character for the kids crowd, I guess. Either way, I'm sure this will be a fine film and sequel.

I think credit should be given to the writers for at least not reverting to formula. Yeah, Dory is grating to the older crowd but making it a story of her "finding" her past is a lot deeper than a rehash of Finding Nemo. I'll echo your sentiment that i'm sure it'll be a good movie.
