Yes please.

Opening day. Strikes the same notes as Drive with the soundtrack and the violence. Also Gosling calmly saying "Wanna fight?" just reminds me of him saying "I drive" in the same cadence.

Sounds like the reaction was pretty mixed at Cannes.

Finally, a movie outrageous enough to make people stand up and boo. The honor goes to Only God Forgives, 90 minutes inside a barrel of Nicolas Winding Refn's subconscious sexual nightmares. All the slicing and hacking makes it obvious: Refn is scared someone wants to take away his penis. It's true that some of the audience came to the film's rescue with applause. But after the final pair of limbs had been slashed off, you knew what the jeering was all about. Some of us were hoping Refn would top the flamboyant brooding of Bronson or the neon ecstasy of Drive. We got instead a work of regressive junk.

From the description it sounds like its a mix of Drive and Kill Bill, which if done right I'm all for it. FWIW the writer seemed to like Refn's previous films.

Refn isn't phased:

I only like it when people love it or hate it. They did that with "Drive," and now people just forgot they hated it. So it's kind of ironic. What's happening now is what happened last time. So for me, I'm like, "Oh, they'll come around."

Can't wait for this. I need to check out Valhalla Rising and his Pusher trilogy sometime. All four of those movies feature Le Chiffre from Casino Royale.

I got to see the first scene of this. I think this is going to be one of those movies that gets half panned at release but in 10-30 years it'll be looked at as a classic. Lots of people hated stuff like The Warriors and 2001: A Space Odyssey when they came out now look at the regard they're held in. Most of the negative reviews sound like they're upset with violence and "misogyny".

Renting this tonight On Demand. Movie's only playing on one screen in the entire state. It's all good though. Cheaper, no hassle trying to find street parking in the city on a Friday night, and I can sit back on my couch and drink.
