I really enjoyed it. They really nailed it by hiring Alan Taylor to direct it (game of thrones director). All the asgard stuff looked great.

                Re: Thor: The Dark World

Saw it last night in 3D - very enjoyable; much better than I expected it to be given that one promo they keep playing on tv. One of the better superhero movies to date imo. I'd put it perhaps a *slight* notch below Iron Man (1st one), X-Men 2, Spiderman 2, & Avengers. I stopped reading comics long ago but was reading Thor during the Malekith/Dark Elves storyline and was nice to see some on-screen references thrown to fans. And really liked the [meaty] end-credits scene.

Have to give Marvel dev team tons of credit; I know someone that hasn't seen any of the previous Marvel films but really enjoyed Thor 2 and didn't expect to. Now she wants to catch up on the other movies. Same thing happened when I took my girlfriend to see the first Thor; by the time Avengers came she was just as anxious to see it as I was. Anyways, very enjoyable movie.

Also new trailer for Captain America makes it look really interesting too
HBO's "The Wire" should rank as one of the top 10 shows EVER on tv - period

                  Re: Thor: The Dark World

I seen this on Sunday and I was pretty impressed. I know hardly anything about Thor and still haven't seen the first movie, but that might change now.

Also, this probably had the best comedy bits/jokes out of any superhero movie I've seen. I was surprised how funny it was while not being completely over the top and ruining the rest of the movie (looking at you, Spider-Man 3).

Pretty awesome movie. I enjoyed it a lot had a lot of good comedic moments and the action was fine too. Not a big fan of Thor, don't know much about him to be honest but the film has made me wanna look into him more. Marvel is really doing well with these movies.

This one was MUCH better than the first that's for sure. I'd recommend people go seee this while the other one not so much..

I can't wait to see what they do with Captain America's sequel also.

I saw this in 3D last Saturday. I agree, very good. I thought the first Thor was good too. I went into it not knowing anything about the character and was pleasantly surprised, and now the sequel was even better.
