I'm cracking up thinking how amazing it would be to have Wolverine in a Deadpool sequel.

It would be hilarious if there Wolverine was in it but they ruined the character. Made him weak and wimpy as a payback for the Deadpool from the Wolverine movie.

Yeah man. I went Sunday night and the showtime we originally wanted to see was sold out so we had to hang out another hour for the next showing. By the time the next show started at 845pm there was a long line waiting for the ropes to go down so we could enter. I thought it was one of the truest comic book character translations to film imo. They cut no corners. Reynolds was great..You sure as heck don't want to bring any kids to this lol. Saw quite a few kids 10 years and younger there. Not trying to get on a soapbox or anything but even I felt uncomfortable about some of the things said or done...Funny flick though imo

EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

Yea from looking at all the marketing, I wouldn't take a kid that young (13 and under). I can see a case for 14 and up though. I don't a better way to put this out there but I want to. Also it shows that Reynolds actually cares about the character and the franchise itself. I mean he fought for 11 years to get the movie created, pushed Fox for the R rating, went through that **** show in Origins to get this movie produced.

            Re: Deadpool

Just got done seeing it. So well done in every way possible. Reynolds as Deadpool is just so epic. I really really hope we can get many sequels out of this or even branch out to some other stuff.

As far as young kids seeing it, it drives me ****ing crazy. Like seriously? Does anybody even research what the damn movie is about before they go? We have all this information at our finger tips yet we can't figure out basic movie info? Just so stupid. To many idiot parents who give their kids whatever the hell they want to be more of a friend then a parent. (Steps off soapbox)

Sorry for the rant. I have 4 kids myself and it's just mind boggling to me that people don't seem to care about this stuff. Crazy.

I hope Deadpool's success has Marvel/Disney taking a couple of risks with their mainline series. Thanos/Infinity War should be rated R (but there's a 0% chance of that).

I really liked this movie. My main gripe was the weak main villain, but that was about it. Ryan Reynolds was made for this role.

Well, it's already been announced that the third (and Jackman's final) Wolverine movie will be Rated R.

Why should Infinity War be rated R? The main MCU titles are fine, it's the fringe and darker stuff like Daredevil and Jessica Jones that they are already doing exactly what you are suggesting.

I'm willing to bet the kid sees the bridge scene on TV or the Internet is extremely hooked then tells Daddy to take him to see this movie. And then daddy takes him to movie.

Afterwords, my wife and I went to grab some candy before we left. We were behind a parent, whose kids went and saw some other movie. They said, "I wish we could have saw Deadpool." She replied, "Maybe in 10 years." Made me kinda proud there's still some good parents out there.

Oh I have no doubt that's what happened. My kids never saw any of the R rated previews but they sure know who Deadpool is. But even my oldest (who is 9) was like man I want to see that movie but it's rated R. Oh well. He's self aware what that means. He was the same way with Daredevil and Jessica Jones but when I explained to him it was rated Mature and wasn't appropriate he got it. I'm no perfect parent by any means but some things just seem to be common sense.

Okay I'm done I promise. Back to the movie. After sleeping on it man it was just so good. I'm gonna have to see it at least one more time. To the comic book store I must go and catch up on my Deadpool stories. It's awesome that this movie is doing so well when the common opinion that the R rating would slow it down.

I watched this last night and it was amazing. I'm normally not one to go watch a movie twice, but I'd go so this again without any hesitation. The action, comedy and soundtrack were all great. The plot was mostly just an origins story, but I was never bored at all. In fact, the movie flew by and was the quickest hour, forty plus minute movie that I've seen in a long time. I can't even pick a favorite moment because it was all just a big blur of awesomeness.

I'm not a big movie collector anymore. I couldn't tell you the last time I bought a newly released Blu Ray. The only time I really buy them is during a Black Friday sales, but this is a Day One buy if I've ever seen one.

Yea I don't really buy movies anymore either, and usually only buy the Blu Ray, DVD, Digital combo pack. And never buy director's cuts or anything like that. But definitely going to do it for this, if the rumors are true and that is going to be coming out later this year.

We own over 200 titles on Amazon's movie storefront, we stopped buying physical titles. It's nice that some include the bonus features but there is a lot of room for innovation in this area.
