I would do that but the audio isn't up to par compared to a blu-ray copy...

        Re: Deadpool

This movie was fantastic. From the opening credits to the ending credits every piece of it felt like Deadpool. Easily my new favorite movie. Is it the best movie, no (weak villain, simple origin story and when the one liners fail to land (rarely) they are pretty awful). But despite those two things this was easily the most entertaining and FUN movie I have ever seen.

Got to see this, and answered my own question from above: I think the trailers absolutely spoiled it for me. In all I think they tainted about 5 or 6 scenes. It was a pretty good coming out party for Colossus, though it would have been nice to see more of him like this in earlier XMen movies and perhaps a morphing back and forth in this one instead of staying in a perpetual metallic state. It would have made him seem more "human" vs. all CGI. I did like Deadpool's ribbing of the mutant chick, though.

NSFW...and this goes to what we talked about around a week ago with the whole parents and taking their kids to the movie.

I think some are blowing the kids thing out of proportion. I'm sure most kids that saw this movie heard nothing different than they here on the radio or what they see on their sexually innuendo laced TV shows.

After thinking about it, my parents never shielded me from seeing rated R movies. They told me to cover my eyes during sex parts but the violence never bothered them. A lot of R stuff back then would actually be PG 13 now.

Completely disagree. There were several scenes that innuendo had nothing to do with. But I could see where this could blow up into a whole 'nother thing.

What annoys me is the whole "Shame on your for bringing your kids to this movie" thing. Just because they do it and you dont doesnt mean they are a bad parent, it just means they parent differently than you.

Granted in todays society its getting harder and harder to be a parent do to all the "This is the right way and this is the wrong way" crap. SMH

Nobody said they were "bad" parents, but in the grand scheme of things it's just not good judgment. It's not about absolutes, but it is about knowing when and when not to expose a child to certain elements of the world because of what they are ready to handle developmentally. You can shake your head all you want.

My last point. This is not a movie for elementary aged kids like the other Marvel movies. It's basically adult oriented material. It's fashioned as such. That's the target audience. But, hey, if you're cool with your 9 year old daughter coming back from this after she went to see this with her friend and her friend's parents because you were cool about it and your daughter asks you about sitting on a boy's face....have at it.

No way an elementary age child should see this. No fracking way. I have an 8 year old and while watching this i am saying to myself "Johnny you're not seeing this until at least 16", and even then my wife would probably kill me lol. Sorry but someone letting their child see this deserves every bit of the criticism headed their way.

They couldn't do more with colossus due to budget reasons. He was played by like 5 people (body motion capture, face motion capture, face model, voice, filming placeholder).

Otherwise the millions they had to cut at the 11th hour led to a better movie.
