Apparently the end setting WAS a Hellicarrier. Turns out FOX has some kind of preliminary agreement with Disney to use some properties.

The article I read said that the agreement could lead to something MUCH bigger in the future.

Saw it and it was just ok to me. I'm not much of a comic book/marvel/super hero fan.

I did really enjoy Reynolds though. He was hilarious and his girl was smoking hot. I also enjoyed the nerdy bartender.

With Deadpool set to arrive on Digital HD today, the film’s self-aware marketing campaign (which some would argue has been as good as the movie itself) is back with some pitch perfect movie parody adds on iTunes.



If you venture into the iTunes store, you can catch Deadpool inserting himself into ads for several of Fox’s X-Men movi9es, Alien 3, Taken, even Batman the Movie.

Why isn't today National Deadpool Day and Deadpool would be out petitioning Obama to make it a national holiday every year?

Seriously, for everything Hollywood screws up these days with remakes, cynical marketing and no creativity they made up for it in SPADES with Deadpool. The marketing of this movie should be studied by ad executives everywhere.
