    Re: Podcasts

My Rotation. See if you can notice a trend

Shutdown Fullcast - The successor to Shutdown Fullback, SB Nation/EDSBS's unfortunately short lived show. Easily the funniest podcast I listen to, Spencer Hall, Ryan Nanni, and Jason Kirk are all funny individually (as well as good at their serious jobs) but together when they start riffing off each other about college football it's on another level.

Podcast Ain't Played Nobody - The serious college football podcast between Steven Godfrey and Bill Connerly, SB Nation's "serious" writers.

Sneaky Good - And The Valley Shook's second podcast, which I'm slated to be appearing on soon

Sin Cast - The creators of Cinema Sins talking movies, but instead of ripping on movies non stop ala How Did This Get Made, they discuss a wider range of topics relating to movies
And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

      Re: Podcasts

I've tried a few different things but I've only stuck with Fatman on Batman, Smodcast, Hollywood Babble On, Talk is Jericho and Steve Austin Show. I guess I'm fairly content with my selections. I rarely listen to podcasts at all since I signed up for SiriusXM though.

        Re: Podcasts

Been pretty much a loyal listener to The Black Guy Who Tips since Brandwin's recommendation (Good looks).

Also added to the rotation that I listen to sporadically:
The Evening Jones with Bomani Jones
Backstory - They usually take a current political or social issue and dig through the history of it. I've come to not be a fan of listening/watching news without proper historical context so this has become essential to me
        This American Life
        Radiolab
        Freakonomics

        NBA Podcasts:
        The Lowe Post
The Vertical Podcast with Chris Mannix
        The Vertical Podcast with Woj
The Vertical Podcast with JJ Redick
These are all good as they feature NBA players or other guys in the organization. JJ's is interesting since he's still an active player.

        NFL
        Move the Sticks
        Around the NFL

        I miss Grantland's NFL podcast.

I hear you on that. I keep thinking how much better it would be if Rod had an equal on the show because she seems a little slow to catch on to the joke at times and doesn't add much as far as humor. Also seems easily swayed by Rod's opinion.

I just haven't found anything as good as far as covering the day to day. I listened to TWIB for a while but Elon's voice and general anxiety irritate me.

              Re: Podcasts

I'm gonna bump this up since a lot of us are listening to at least one podcast regularly.

Anyway, Halloween is in about a month and I would like to hear some good ghost stories or anything along those lines.

Does anybody have any recommendations for good supernatural/haunting/horror podcasts?

I know about Lore, but its hit or miss with me a lot of the times.
