Re: Breaking Bad: The Final 8 - (premieres 8/11/13)
Thoughts on tonight's episode.
SpoilerI don't think Todd and his guys came by, regardless of what Walt said, to help Walt out. They had no issues with unleashing at the car Walt was in, so I doubt they were trying to save him.
Jesse, on the other hand, he knows how to cook. They may be trying to get him to cook for them as Walt will not after calling off the deal. Jack and the boys force Jesse to cook for them, but Walt wants none of that. Walt tries to save Jesse as a last resort to get onto his good side and that's what his M60 is going to be used for.
Of course, I'm probably wrong on all accounts, but just what I believe.
SpoilerMike's This thoughts are pretty much along the same lines as what I'm thinking. I don't think Jack and company were there to help Walt at all. They're there mostly for Jesse and what ever else happens was collateral damage.
Like others have said, I knew that Hank (or possibility Marie, but that was over as soon as I saw the trucks pulling up) was a goner by the phone call. Gomez is definitely gone too.
My guess is that the Aryan's take Jesse. They need him already, but the will need him even more if Todd bites it during the shootout, I'm assuming he does die. They hold Jesse against his will and Walt ends up trying to save him, which is why he goes back. I have no idea what happens with Walt's family. My guess is that Walt gets framed as a cop killer and Skylar takes the kids. Honestly, I have no idea. I'm just throwing crap against the wall to see if it sticks. My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Re: Breaking Bad: The Final 8 - (premieres 8/11/13)
Just wow, awesome episode, other than a huge cliff hanger to end it.
What I think happens next
SpoilerI pretty much agree with people that Hank and Gomez both do not make it out of this gun fight. After its done, Walt tries to avoid being seen in the area, so he calls Saul to call his friend to get a new identity. Jesse escapes as well unseen, but not sure what happens with him afterwards. He knows now that Walt tried to have him killed, cant see any way of him trusting Walt anymore, but how he gets protection for himself is a mystery to me(I dont see him going back to cook just for protection.Comment

Re: Breaking Bad: The Final 8 - (premieres 8/11/13)
What an awesome ending to the show.
SpoilerWalt doesn't have the money to go buy Machine Guns if hank is alive to find the money. I think Walt showing so much weakness and indecisiveness when dealing with the Jessie issue showed the Aryans that Jessie is the bargaining chip here. I guess the big question is who is going to be left alive in the end. I don't think Walt or Jessie make it."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

POTENTIAL spoiler for next week...clicker beware:
Spoilerhttp://breakingbad.wikia.com/wiki/Jane_Margolis
Check out what's listed under Last Appearance. "Ozymandias" is the title of next week's episode.
Obviously this would just be in the form of some kind of flashback (or possibly in the "previously on AMC's Breaking Bad" segment), but could serve to set it up for Jesse to finally find out that Walt let Jane die.
Or it could be an elaborate prank designed to throw people off. 24 did that in one its late seasons, had some actors from previous seasons listed on IMDB in upcoming episodes of the current season who never actually ended up being on the show again. We'll see....Comment

Re: Breaking Bad: The Final 8 - (premieres 8/11/13)
Yeah how did they not get torn to shreds within seconds? But damn that was good stuff. I find myself on the edge of my seat throughout every part of these episodes waiting for **** to hit the fan. You just know this is gonna end badly for everyone; just waiting to see it unfold has the tension up to max.
When Hank had his Marie phone call moment I figured it was finito for him. I cant say Im too upset about it either.Comment

I think I might be the only one whoSpoileris gonna miss Hank. Flawed? For sure. But generally a pretty good guy, tough-guy-cop tendencies not withstanding. His flaws (anxieties, single-mindedness) made him human. And sorry Gomie had to go as well.NCAA: Michigan Wolverines

If so it definitely makes sense that you would miss the main cop(s) on the show.Comment

No sir, not a cop. And not really that fond of them in a larger sense. I know some that are nice guys but the job itself seems to attract a certain type.NCAA: Michigan Wolverines

I really have no guesses as to what will happen next. I didn't expect that ending at all. So all my predictions are gone. I'm just going to sit back and watch the madness keep unfolding until the finale. One of my favorite shows of all time.

Re: Breaking Bad: The Final 8 - (premieres 8/11/13)
Well I think that's got to be one of theSpoilermost underwhelming episodes of the season. Exactly how did Hank and Gomez evade that barrage of bullets? Did they somehow pickup superpowers as they crossed into the desert?
Also, is Huell really that gullible? He's worked for a crooked lawyer for years, who's been in business with meth sellers and he flinches as soon as he sees a fabricated picture of Jesse with his brains blown out.
Even though it's more credible for Walt to mess up (as he does on a regular basis but somehow still maintains the reputation of being smart), it's still bizarre in this episode. For him to fall for Jesse's fake picture of a barrel of cash is insane. He doesn't even think about it maybe being a trap. He just reacts and gets into his classic Walt panic. Heisenberg is a fraud. He's no Gus, nowhere near him. Gus would never fall for this crap, but then again Gus didn't try to become a drug kingpin in a few months.
