Re: Breaking Bad: The Final 8 - (premieres 8/11/13)
Thought the episode was good, but not great. Certainly nothing to do with the show (this was an episode they had to have), but definitely more predictable than the first episode.
I think the idea was that Skylar sticking up for Walt would be kind of a shocker, but it's not really a secret that Walter has manipulated everyone into protecting him.Writer for Operation Sports

This episode was pretty solid. I was always curious to see how Marie would react given her stealing problem.Comment

Re: Breaking Bad: The Final 8 - (premieres 8/11/13)
The first and only episode of the series (at least so far) where Jesse didn't speak a single word of dialogue.
I also want to know where Walter Jr. is during all of this going on. I would have thought that Hank and Marie would have attempted to get to him somehow.
Totally sucks that Declan died. I really enjoyed his character in the brief scenes he's been in.
Also, Huell is the ****ing man.Comment

Re: Breaking Bad: The Final 8 - (premieres 8/11/13)
After showing what Uncle Jack and his crew can do, I have a feeling that the final war will be Walt and Jessie vs Todd and Uncle Jack.
My prediction:
SpoilerUncle Jack gets greedy and desperate after Todd can't re-create the purity of Heisenberg's product, so he contacts Heisenberg to come back into the game. Heisenberg declines and states his DEA brother in law suspects him and the main reason he's retired. Uncle Jack does the deed and kills Hank, which pisses off Walt, since nobody messes with his family.Comment

My cable went out during the Hank/Skylar scene in the diner. For a second I thought they had decided to pull a Sopranos.
Watched the rest today. Definitely a move the storyline forward episode that set things up for next week. Still a really good episode thought. Thought the scene with Skylar and Marie was good.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: Breaking Bad: The Final 8 - (premieres 8/11/13)
I enjoyed the episode, especially the Skylar and Hank/Marie confrontations. Did not expect Declan to be killed off.
What I think will happen next week
SpoilerJesse has always shown his loyalty to Walt, but I still cant find a reason why Jesse would turn on him now. I wonder if Hank will try and do what he did to Skylar and try to have Jesse play the victim card to get him to talk. Even so, I still think Jesse keeps quiet, to protect Walt and himself.Comment
