That episode was awesome, and I am going to def watch it again, but, in the meantime, I need to PM one of yall to help me understand exactly what just happened. I need to re-watch prior seasons...."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

I don't recall there being fire damage in the flash forward, but I'd have to re-watch it to make sure. It just looked abandoned to me.1905 1921 1922 1933 1954 2010 2012

Re: Breaking Bad: The Final 8 - (premieres 8/11/13)
The second time Walt created ricin it was intended to kill Gustavo Fring. He created a small vial of it in Gus's own superlab, supposedly out of sight, and secretly passed it to Jesse, who concealed it in one of his cigarettes. At the time, however, Jesse was distancing himself from Walt and growing closer to Gus, and thus he never administered it even when he had the opportunity.
Later, Andrea Cantillo's son Brock Cantillo fell severely ill from some unknown cause and Jesse found that his ricin-vial cigarette was missing. He told Andrea to warn Brock's doctors about the possible poisoning. Because only he and Walt knew about the ricin, Jesse suspected that Walt poisoned Brock; however, Walt convinces him that it was Gus who poisoned Brock. ("End Times") Although initially in danger of dying, doctors say that he would survive, and tests showed that it was not ricin; instead, he ingested the berries of a local poisonous plant called the "Lily of the Valley". At the very end of the episode, the camera zooms in on a Lily of the Valley in Walt's back yard, beside his pool. ("Face Off")
Season 5
Saul Goodman returned the ricin cigarette to Walt, stating his wonder that Huell didn't break it when he lifted it from Jesse. ("Live Free or Die") Walt hid the ricin capsule behind an electrical outlet in his bedroom and made a false capsule with salt. He hid the fake capsule in a cigarette and planted it in Jesse's Roomba to put Jesse's mind at ease. ("Madrigal") Walt later took the ricin to a meeting with Lydia Rodarte-Quayle with intentions to kill her, though didn't because she proved to be useful, by offering expansion of Walt's empire into the Czech Republic. ("Gliding Over All")
In 2010, Walt heads back to his house, now abandoned, and retreives the ricin from behind the electrical outlet. ("Blood Money")"Blood Money" is the ninth episode of the fifth season of Breaking Bad and the fifty-fifth episode altogether. It is also the mid-season premiere. In a flashforward, following his purchase of the M60 machine gun, Walt drives up to his former residence, which is now cordoned-off and derelict. He grabs a tire iron from the trunk of his car and breaks into the house. Trash and graffiti are everywhere; a group of skateboarders are skating in the now-empty pool outside. The interior has been...
Also solves the question of what year it's in which was being discussed recently.Comment

Re: Breaking Bad: The Final 8 - (premieres 8/11/13)
SpoilerKeep in mind the "mystery" of how Brock was poisoned by the Lily of the Valley was never resolved, in Jesse's mind.
In the course of rifling through his pockets looking for his cigarettes, Jesse discovered that his dope was gone, and realized that Huell had lifted it off of him when he brushed past him in Saul's office. That made him remember the patdown from Huell in Season 4 when Huell took his cigarettes. He then realized that he had been right all along; remember Walt had convinced him that Tyrus had likely stolen the ricin cigarette from his coat pocket in his locker in the lab. That story came undone when it was discovered that it wasn't ricin that had poisoned Brock, but the full extent of it finally connected in Jesse's mind when he realized his dope was gone in tonight's episode.Comment

Season 4 Spoiler:
SpoilerJesse had already suspected Huell of lifting the cigarettes the first time in season 4 but Walt messed with Jesse's head and convinced him otherwise. When he realized the pot was gone, he knew for sure Huell lifted the pot and realized Huell probably did it before with the cigarettes.Comment
