He never got out because Walt was so good at manipulating him. Walt did promise no more people would die but that was obviously BS. Like Mike said, Jesse's problem was his loyalty to Walt.

"I made you my BITCH....do you accept that?!"

    ".....no."

Complaining? No, discussing aspects I don't like about a show I watch, yes.

I have never cared much for Jesse's emo side, but driving around sobbing while chucking money out of his car was slightly more emo then before.

I agree, and Gilligan even brought up the possibility of Walt's "you have to believe me Jesse" (in reference to NOT killing Mike), as "if you don't believe me you might be dead."

I still believe the earlier Walter is in there somewhere, not that earlier Walt was a saint.

Yea Jesse has always been something of an emo. If I were Jesse, I'd take all of that money and drive west or east or north, somewhere far away from ABQ, and start over.

Why not south? What do you got against Mexico, holmes?

Lol If I had bags of money that I couldn't get across the border, a "bad relationship" with some major cartels, and couldn't speak the language, I'd have a lot against going to Mexico.

He can't take the money, because it is soaked with blood. Starting over would be good. Using the blood money puts him right back where he is.

As for not liking emo Jesse, Breaking Bad is not targeted at folks who want to escape into the glory of gang life. It's not, nor has it ever been, that shallow.

Jesse was supposed to killed off in season one, but the actor's performance opened up the possibility for a much deeper storyline. Walter is the one with no conscience, and Jesse needs to kill him. They talked about how Jesse needs to die on Talking Bad, but his only redemption is eliminating Walter from the world. He may have to go down with him, though.

It kind of freaks me out that folks thought this was a fun show in any way. This has been an agonizing show from the get go. This was never, ever going to be a story about Jesse and Walt "making it." This was about Walt ruining the lives of everyone he touches.

And right now, Jesse's life is ruined.

When you have $5 million, trust me, you can manage to get it across that border, you can afford protection, and you can pay to have people speak for you. Cartel has had Walt as their target additionally.

Sorry if I mentioned this before, but is there a chance that Gus's Chilean relatives get involved? Walt did some bragging in "Say My Name".

If I were Jesse I'd probably be doing a lot of crying too with the way Walt has manipulated my life for the past several years.

This may have been mentioned already but the whole Walt takes on the traits of the people he kills can be connected to Skylar at the beginning of season 5.

Intense. The Skyler-Marie scene was gut wrenching.

I was wondering when I'd see the guy that said, "You're Heisenberg" again.
