Hell yeah that was awesome! Got more to write later but I loved it. Definitely watch it IMAX if you can. You can skip 3d imo.

Godzilla looked fantastic. Definitely showed off his size throughout the movie and he looked like he's been lifting! And that roar.... Oh my.

I'll write spoiler stuff later..... Long live Godzilla!!

Got tickets for the 3D IMAX showing at 7 tonight...usually pass on 3D, but these kind of movies seem to warrant it. Hype meter is at 11!

Just saw it. It was meh. I recommend to rent or $1 movie.

Or maybe I was disappointed because I was waiting on Walter White to tell Godzilla "I'm the one that knocks!

Came into it not expecting a whole lot, but it was pretty awesome, in my opinion.

Because I thought it was a good idea, I'm going to see this at the drive in on Saturday.

                Re: Godzilla 2014

Pretty good movie. I haven't seen any previous Godzilla movies, but I have certainly seen my share of disaster movies. As far as "disaster" action goes, this one is pretty in the middle. As far as monster action goes, this was pretty high up there. I liked the "less is more" approach this film had for the first two acts, and I think the actors helped support the film too. I could have gone for a different direction for the pretty convoluted plot, but then again I'm not a film writer so I don't really know if other methods would have truly been preferred.

I'm just glad that somebody who got a crack at this had a legitimately serious take on it, though I don't know if I was "thoroughly entertained" like a summer blockbuster should do. Maybe if this just went more for "thriller" right off the bat, it would have appealed more to me as far as expectations go.

It's worth seeing on the big screen, but not worth seeing in 3D. I wouldn't itch and pine for it immediately if I were you, because you might be let down. I liked it though. There are just enough bad-*** moments and shots that you just have to appreciate Godzilla for being Godzilla, nothing less and nothing more.

3D was a waste of time, I wish it was possible to just watch it in IMax without the 3D. Other than that, it was cool. Not the best movie I've ever seen but it wasn't bad.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

That's what bothers me, I love movies in IMAX, but hate movies in 3D.

Godzilla was done great, the scenes with Godzilla in them were really cool, there was just not enough of them. Like others have said 3D is a waste but the IMAX part made the immersion that much better.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Godzilla was exactly I expected it to be, loved it for what it was. Brian Cranston really delivered, he really is a master of his craft.
