Re: The Flash (Spinoff from Arrow)
Also, spoilers from the finale.
SpoilerI think the reason Season 2 Barry didn't fade away is because either Thawne or Zolomon finds some way to kill his mom at a different date OR Season 2 Barry had been inside the Speed Force, and that can't be erased.SpoilerAnother possibility is that I have no ****ing clue what's going on but I am REALLY looking forward to Season 3 lol.Boston Red Sox

Re: The Flash (Spinoff from Arrow)
I decided to watch that flashpoint stuff since people here talking about it. I could see SOME of what happens in that thing happening on this show, but obviously most of it won't happen due to the characters. But from the flashpoint paradox, I could see certain things translating in some way with Flash such as:Spoiler-Barry goes back in time and saves his parents, he doesn't become the flash, eventually the world ends up being much worse off than it was before Barry changed time, maybe he meets the other Green Arrow(Olivers dad, similar to flashpoint where he meets Bruce Waynes dad). And the whole season, or at least that story, wraps up with Barry basically doing what he did in S1, going back in time and letting his mom die,and then goes back and lets his dad die too, before the timeline is restored.Comment

Re: The Flash (Spinoff from Arrow)
It might be that everything from Earth 2 becomes his world, since Barry on that earth wasn't the Flash. It's a startBoy this habit is as bad as dope!!!

Re: The Flash (Spinoff from Arrow)
The thing that bothers me with all the time travel & changing things is it takes away the time that you have invested in the characters & storylines. If everything is erased then what we watched never really meant anything. It also makes character deaths meaningless & less impactful if they can just be brought back by changing time. I may be reading to much into it but I just like things that I saw in a season remain relevant Another issue is how will this impact Arrow if things are changed in Flash since they are in the same universe. I just think it'll complicate things a bit to much. Just my opinion as I still love the show & look forward to season 3."If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

And doesn't the saving of his mother cause other time consequences? What about the time wraiths?Comment

Re: The Flash (Spinoff from Arrow)
They already did part of Flashpoint a few weeks ago. Ya know, when he lost his speed and voluntarily got shocked again.

Going back in time to save his mom which they attempted once is actually flashpoint paradoxComment

Re: The Flash (Spinoff from Arrow)
You mean the part where he didn't have speed and he was a normal person? I would consider that losing his speed.Boston Red Sox

Re: The Flash (Spinoff from Arrow)
So we're arguing about the definition of "lost his speed". Cool.
to miss from one's possession or from a customary or supposed place; to suffer deprivation of : part with especially in an unforeseen or accidental manner; to suffer loss through the death or removal of or final separation from (a person)… See the full definition
And I never said that was episode was Flashpoint. I said they used PART of Flashpoint, where he LOST his speed and they injected him with the exact same chemicals and struck him with lightning. There's no way to argue that's not EXACTLY what they did in Flashpoint. Only in the comic it was Batman and not Harrison Wells.Last edited by TripleCrown9; 05-28-2016, 05:42 PM.Boston Red Sox

Re: The Flash (Spinoff from Arrow)
What I'm sayung is the way it was lost is a fsr fetched story from what FPP is...and that the ending was much more to the point to it
I wasn't even talking about earlier episodes so no I'm not arguing anything.
I just dont call giving something away voluntarily "losing it"
You dont have to agree....its my opinion
I think the writing has been crap for quite a few episodes anywayComment
