Re: The Flash
No matter where you stand on Ralph there would be no logic in killing him off or even shipping him to Legends. He was brought in to pump new blood into a show that was going away from darker and coming closer to being fun. CW will be making a big mistake if they eliminate him (IMO).Comment

Re: The Flash
Not saying I think he should be written off or anything, but just seems like eventually he will be. Look at Wally, they just one day decided to stop caring about him, and then just had him doing nothing before leaving and now being on Legends.
If there's one thing he has going for him is that he hasn't gotten too close to Caitlin. He could've gone the way of Ronnie, Jay, Julian lol. Though there's still time....Even Stein was basically like a mentor to her and look at him too.
Really, outside of Cisco and Barry, everyone close to her has either died or been written off (I don't consider someone like Joe, Iris or even Harry to be close to her directly)Comment

Re: The Flash
Would be nice to see him more often, but I'm sure there's reasons they don't have him on, whether it be money, filming location, other commitments or some other reason that has applied to many people within these shows.Comment

Re: The Flash
Exactly. At one point there was Barry, Wally, Jay, Jesse, and Savitar. Not to mention Thawne on Legends, and the occasional appearance of Black Flash.Boston Red Sox

Re: The Flash

Re: The Flash
I was watching S1 again because...well...it's awesome television.
So future Barry fought Reverse-Flash at 11-year old Barry's home and Reverse-Flash killed Nora Allen. Barry says several times leading up to the finale that his future self fights Reverse-Flash but loses.
So...follow me here.
After he gets back, he fights Reverse-Flash and Eddie Thawne kills himself creating a paradox where Eobard Thawne just "disappears". I'm presuming this means that future Eobard Thawne would cease to exist, right? He has no ancestor?
If that's the case, how did Eobard come back in S2 to steal a tacheon device? How did Eobard come back as Reverse-Flash in the crossover this season dressed up AS Harrison Wells (no way he would've been that character, or at least known to be it so as to be a nuisance to Barry without being able to travel back to his own time).
I do know Reverse-Flash is/was in LoT but I haven't watched any of it yet...maybe it's all covered there and if so, just say yes (without spoiling it).Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

In all seriousness, and the way I word all this might be confusing.
Spoiler
Thawne comes back in Season 2, because he's a slightly younger version of Thawne. Because the Thawne that died is the one from the future that was alive when Eddie killed himself. Which means that Thawne on that day in the future died. The show has shown that if you time travel and go to other Earths, little to no time can pass (when Barry goes to Earth 38 and meets Supergirl, he was there for at least a couple days, but when he returned to Earth 1, it was like he never left, as seen here.) So maybe the Thawne that keeps coming back is from a few days earlier in the 25th century, before Eddie kills himself in the present (I.E. if it's Tuesday in 2017, it's that same Tuesday in 2617).
Another possible explanation is one that the show has hinted at for several things, and this is an alternate timeline. They've said every time Barry goes back in time, he creates yet another alternate timeline. So we haven't been on the original timeline since the very first time he went back in time.
All of this because when Thawne comes back the second time, he says "Now I know what time period you're from" (as seen here) as if this is the first time he's seen Barry.
SO IN CONCLUSION...
Spoiler
It's time travel, bruh. There is no easy explanation lol.Last edited by TripleCrown9; 02-22-2018, 04:41 PM.Boston Red Sox

Re: The Flash
I don't watch LOT either but one theory is that it is younger Reverse-Flash existing at least before he killed Barry's parents. Bottom-line some of the time travel laws can only be decoded by Stephen Hawking.Comment

Re: The Flash
Barry's mom dies--dad is accused--Barry becomes a cop--the accident in the lab--Flash is great--gets museum--Thawne works at museum 600 years in the future--becomes obsessed with Flash--gives himself speed--goes back in time to create Flash--kills Barry's mom--dad accused--etc.Boston Red Sox
