Homeland - Season 3

I just finished the leaked episode. I thought it was really solid. It was also kinda cool watching the episode before it was completely finished, i.e. the green screen shots and the obvious temporary voice dubbing.

I've always really liked the daughter story line. I feel like every show has a character that everyone hates, but I really don't get the hate with her.

Also, I'm not sure why someone put spoiler tags on this. The only thing I said about the episode was that it was solid, and the unfinished part. I'm talking about the daughter in general, but I edited it to make that more obvious.

I love waiting weeks between episodes of Homeland or anything else. Builds anticipation, you don't get burned out, allows you to digest what you watch, you have something to look forward to.

In this "marathon viewing" culture we find ourselves in nowadays, I feel like many people don't truly get to appreciate what they're watching.

If it's good, it's good no matter what pace you watch it at.

If it's not good you're not going to marathon watch it.

Yeah but when it all starts to blend together after watching in marathon form, you forget what happened in which episode. It's not a good thing.

Why does Showtime air these spoiler heavy ads for their TV shows? I was getting ready to watch Dexter and they show this dialogue with Saul and Carrie spoiling the premiere.

I think I'm the only one who watched this and not Breaking Bad.

I thought it was a great start to the season. I'm interested to see where Quinn fits into this. Love his character.

I was hoping to get to see what Brody is up to even if it was a few seconds but the episode was good and I'm sure we'll see whats up with him next week.

I think it's an important part of the plot, personally. Are we supposed to believe that Brody's family is handling the backlash without any problems? I enjoy it.

Liked it, although given the early release hype I expected a little more.

Surprised to see Saul NOT covering for Carrie.

So Mike's a recurring character this season, huh?

Last season Peter Quinn was a cold blooded assassin and this season he's Mr. Caring and Sensitive. Ok.

I'm probably out on this show. They started this season with two filler episodes and I'm just bored now.

Season 1 was so brilliant. What happened!?! Now, they're just reaching, and I mean reaching. Can't watch another of this daughter Dana crisis moments.

Thought it's been a brilliant opening to the season, to be honest, considering how last season ended.

It's been okay but somewhat underwhelming considering the standard.

I love how they're portraying Carrie though. The viewer knows she's right and yet has them saying, "well, can you blame them for not believing her? She DOES sound psycho." That's good stuff.
