Good episode. Yes there were some lapses in the writing, but what show doesn't? And I really think that they didn't want the zombies to interfere with the altercation between the 2 camps.

It's almost a metaphor that even when the world goes to hell, our worst enemy will always be each other.

As for Judith, I feel that the girls grabbed her. My left field guess is that Carol came back and grabbed her.

But honestly, just like Hershel's death, I feel the death of Judith will be a good thing for Carl. I can see Carl maturing and becoming a more vital player in the camp. Maggie and Beth will have vengeance in their blood after what happened to their dad.

Still trying to find out what the deal is with Medic Bob. He's a very strange character that the writers only tease about.

I enjoyed this episode but agree wth alot of you on these issues and a few other things I think are lining up

- To what someone mentioned earlier, where the hell were all the zombies that
have been hanging at the fences since day one.





- WTH happend to Beth? I think she grabbed judith because she was a caretaker
for her for so long





- The only people I see protected from being killed off are Rick, Karl,
Michonne, and darryl.





- Looking at the trailors, looks like Rick and son are held up somewhere
while everyone else is out and about.





- Was anyone else hoping Michonne would have pulled up on the sword after
stabbing the Gov?

-We are gonna have a headless Hershel walking around because I didnt see a cut to the brain

This ain't game of thrones dammit! That damn Guv'nah did Hershel dirty. And no, there's no chance of a zombie version because the Guv bashed his head in.

Tyrese's face was hella funny when the kids saved him. Guess he can thank Carol for that.

Pony tail girl needs to be integrated into Rick's group. Just to give Maggie some "competition."

No spoiler here but wasnt the chick that rick seen in the woods earlier in the season one of the zombies walking??? My wife told me it was her but I wasnt 100%

I liked the episode, my love had been waning after each episode but nothing like killing a few people to renew my interest. I'm glad Herschel died, I didn't like him, he was like dale and I hated him. As far as the baby, I'm sure she's ok, I don't see them killing off a baby. I was shocked by the children killing the women at the end, that was crazy. I had a crazy thought that the governor is still alive, the women shoots a zombie and helps the governors wounds but I'm probably wrong. I thought that because michonne didn't cut his head off, I thought for sure she would have. Herschel death was pretty good and then he cuts the head off completely lol that's how I would have done it. I didn't buy into the governor being reformed, I knew he was bad and I'm glad he stuck to it. I'm eager to see each plot plays out now, I haven't read the comics.

My guess is that Judith was saved by Tyreese or one of the little girls. I am going to watch the mid-season finale again tonight to see if I spot anything different. If they do not bring Judith back, I am ok with that too since Rick or Corul (Carl) never really paid attention to her here in S4 so its a character you never cared for at all besides her being a baby.

The whole Gov thing has me perplexed with how they had Michonne take him out. I'm concerned that his girlfriend might of taken out a walker instead, so I hope he really is gone.

-Tyrese's daughter(?) can't even make herself walk outside, but suddenly she's in a gun battle and running around saving others?

Andrew Lincoln's character Rick on how he is portrayed just annoys me more and more with each passing season. Do you guys think they would have the balls to kill him off and move forward with someone else as the leader? He has become so uncertain of himself as a leader that it makes you nervous watching him lead these people.

I'm pretty sure he's not from Woodbury. In one of the episodes when they were out getting medicine I remember him saying he was the last left of his group before they found him.

Think some people are being a bit nit picky here, it was a adrenaline fueled thrill ride, enjoy it for what it is. Yea I could nit pick (m4 firing on full auto, even in the army it's semi auto), but like a game of madden, I enjoy it for what it is.

I honestly thought they were going to drag out the assault a little longer as far as episodes go, happy the prison episodes have ended though.

And to everyone asking where the crazy horde of walkers went, do you not recall the episode where they broke down the fence and Rick and Carl mowed all the sum'bitches down?

Pretty tight episode though; first time in a while that I've legit been on the edge of my seat. Can't wait for the second half.

I'm thinking that Lizzie is the one that was feeding the walkers, cut out that heart, and killed Karen and the other person. I think when Rick asked Carol if she killed them there was a slight hesitation. I think Carol knows that Lizzie killed them, drug the bodies out, and burned them. I think that Tyreese and the girls will, somehow, reunite with Carol.

I think the Bob Stookey story line is going to be the focus post February. I think there is going to be much more to his story than has been revealed to this point. Something along the cliche lines of him turning out to be a very accomplished medical professional in his past who's alcoholism ruined his career with something pretty horrific happening. That rat in the basement was a vivisection and I don't think he was feeding the walkers, he was trying to get them to bite the rats without the rat dying so he could see why animals were immune to the biter's saliva. That may be what was in the shoebox that he got real shady with.
