Also, this might be an unpopular opinion, but here goes: I think Carl's actor gets way too much hate.

Whiny teenagers who try to act like adults are annoying. I think the actor is playing his role just fine.

As someone else mentioned earlier, it's a combination of his character being written poorly, and the actor himself not being very good.

To be fair though, not many child/teenage actors are good at acting.

I think he's every bit as good as Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick. Take that as you may. :-)

It's also that he started as a much younger boy, and they had no idea how good of an actor he was going to be. He just tries so hard. I wouldn't call him anything close to being a natural actor.

You could make the case, but the actors who play the kids in Game of Thrones (Arya, Bran, and Sansa) completely blow the actor for Carl out of the water. It could be the way they are written, I mean the dialogue in GoT is miles better than anything in The Walking Dead that doesn't have the governor in it.

He's not written that well, but whenever he has bigger parts and is given monologues like in last weeks episode, they don't come off that well at all IMO. I will agree though that he is not that much worse than Andrew Lincoln. I know they are the main characters and it wouldn't happen, but I feel like the show would be better off if they were killed off.

It's a big shame that the 2 best actors the show has had (Danny Morrisey an Michael Rooker) were killed off. Easily the 2 best performances on the show so far.

I honestly wouldnt mind if they started over with new people and finish the stories of these ones. I had a great time watching the Governor's episode(s?) when he was a loner and lived with those new people. I even commented thinking this should be the new focus of the season when it happened. Him going rogue and reverting to his old ways so quickly was kinda weak for me but it was still great taking a break from the same cast. The potential with a completely different group is very compelling for me. Something I would love the comics to do as well.

There is only so much more you can do with these same characters before your story becomes completely cyclic (like the comic has become). We have seen it with Carl, and Rick already. It would be a bold move to pull on TV, but I would embrace a kind of reboot/new story in this universe. Enough with the Grimes ****.

Everything is becoming so predictable. But come on, how does Glenn bum rush his way thru a horde of zombies, come on lol I don't get how zombies are smart at one spot and then back to being stupid. Ur right tho, I'm not liking the direction of these new zombies.

As for Glenn, he's wearing a riot shield suit. Unless the zombies were smart enough to remove his armor, they wouldn't be able to bite through it. Now granted it may have been unrealistic when the zombies piled up on him, and he managed to get out of the pile up, but other than that, it was all realistic.

I was very uneasy about Libby suffocating Judith to keep her quiet. That made me very uncomfortable.
