I don't understand the "cancellation" part of it. It still puts up good numbers and obviously a bunch of people watch it. Unless you're saying that just because you are losing interest in it..?

Not to mention it's already been renewed for a fifth season.....

I thought tonight's episode was decent; I'm much more interested in the Beth/Daryl episodes than some of the others.

But I am questioning where exactly they're going with the season. There are only four episodes left this season (!!). What's the plan? They've got four separate storylines going.

          The Walking Dead (Season 4)

I'm fine with this as long as they don't do this all season long. I understand they need to tread water until they all get back together and discover

That's how I feel. Daryl/Beth is more interesting to me than Rick/Carl/Michonne and Maggie/Sasha/Bob. Just kind of feel like the show is just using this entire half of the season the set up upcoming seasons. It just doesn't really feel like anything major is going to happen this season.

I don't like their interaction, what's next them having intimate relations. I also agree that nothing major will happen but I don't think walking dead will ever recapture that glory again. I just don't about this show anymore, it's went from me watching every show and DVRing it to not even caring anymore but it's all good. I respect everyone's opinion.

This was one of my favorite episodes in the entirety of the show... which came after a couple of my least favorite. I thought the writing was pretty good, but the acting made this one of my favorites.

I have no problem with the lack of zombie horror. I was initially drawn to the show because of that, but I kept watching because of the characters and their evolution. The zombies really shouldn't be much of a threat anymore unless you're caught in a horde. Everyone still around has survived for a reason.

People complain about a lack of character development. But then they complain about episodes like this that develop the characters.

Well, I thought the characters we've seen tonight have already developed.

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)

This part of the comic was pretty boring to me. The whole story arch they were building was kinda meh and it looks like they are gonna do the same on the show. Im not too excited about it.

This episode was good. Im glad they didn't go full on romance with the episode. I was praying they would refrain from doing the cliche there. How old is Beth suppose to be now anyway? Also I was impressed with the actress. I all of a sudden became interested in her character now that she isn't just a scenery/emotional device.

As for the complaint about the zombies. You couldnt expect these guys to be petrified about Zombies after what should be around 3-4 years of the infection. For the most part they know what they are doing and we as an audience have become numb to the zombies. Its just natural. If you watch Scream 1-2-3 and 4 for the first time consecutively, you'll probably stop being scared somewhere during number 2. The story is a drama. That has never not been the case.

Anyway, Daryl and Beth are now in the danger zone of death. We learned more about their characters. its only a matter of time before one of em get the ax now.

We haven't gotten too much of a look into Daryl's past, besides with Meryl and their dad. And Beth has been low key.

It's not a spin off. It's a companion series. No character cross over. It'll be about the ZA in some other part of the world.

I look forward to it. I liked what they did with the Governor episode and I realized I was feinding for a new story away from the Rick camp. I wonder how they plan to keep both shows different enough where interest doesn't die off for one or the other (or both). One will probably air while the other is on break.

I hope they air opposite. But with the second show, it's a brand new story, no comic to use as a reference. Can do all new and completely different stuff.
