Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
I think Beth was abducted too. She wouldn't leave Daryl like that.
I found this to be a pretty good episode. The last 2 episodes I felt were treading water and doing nothing, but this one added some suspense/mystery over the disappearance of Beth. Still wish they would wrap this journey up a little sooner and get everyone to this Terminus place. It looks like we will have one more episode of journeying until this all comes together for the season 4 finale (I think).Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

I liked this episode a lot as well. I've thoroughly enjoyed the character development over the last 3-4 episodes, aside from the Rick and Carl stuff.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
My goodness will somebody save Beth! Every minute that passed in the episode after she was abducted had me feeling nervous. Then Daryl got got by the band of goons. Beth is in some super cereal trouble now.
Btw Bob needs to go back to that look from the beginning of the episode. His head saved makes him look like a goomba. Also I thought he was good as dead when Maggie was in the town with the other chick. I figured he was in the most danger since they gave him a mini background story to start the episode.
But seriously, Beth is ****ed lol. Im 100% that the dog was sent in as a scout, then returned with a horde of zombies by the guy who was actually held up in that house. Since hes still dressin gup zombies in funeral attire, I think its safe to assume hes insane. Just when they gave Beth a third dimension they took her away!Last edited by kingkilla56; 03-10-2014, 05:25 AM.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
Tired of these budding relationships, it's time for some people to start meeting their ends lol I don't care if it's the kids, Beth or even Maggie. I don't like the introduction of all these new people, we need Shane back.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
I was on team no romane between Beth and Daryl, still am. But I can see why they went there. Make you really feel when she got kidnapped. It worked!
I kinda saw it coming with Goomba and Sasha. But when did that guy grow some balls? Lol.Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
I was also in the camp that said the prior episode was a little disappointing. I actually told a coworker that we won't know if it was a good episode or not until we let the story develop a little bit. Now that it has, I can appreciate the episode more.
I know some are down on the last half of this season so far, but I've enjoyed it. The Rick and Carl stuff from the opening episode has been the weakest part, but for the most part the rest of it has been pretty solid (especially in the character development department). I was already interested in seeing how the group meets back up, the new group Glenn is with, what Terminus is, etc. But, Darryl joining this new "bad group" really did throw me for a loop. I can't wait to see what happens with that.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
Pretty good episode. There were some slow parts, especially when Sasha talks (she needs to stop talking, and just walk, because she looked good in those jeans.)
Anyway, I liked the intro. At first I thought it was the future, and Bob was the lone survivor between him, Maggie, and Sasha. But the intro explained a lot. I was wondering what changed Bob from the drunk looking for a drink to Mr. happy face who just can't stop smiling. The scene of him living his life off cough syrup, was pretty depressing.
It goes to show you that even with the world going to sh**, people will still have cravings no matter where they can get it from.
I really thought Bob (doesn't he look like the older brother from Different Strokes?) was bit and infected. Biting through the bandages, doesn't seem very plausible.
Just wanted to ask.. and please no spoilers.. was Terminus in the comic books too?Comment

Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)
I don't remember if it was actually called Terminus or not, but there is something similar to a "safe haven" in the comic. Although the way they got there seems a bit different in the show than in the comic (assuming that they all just follow the tracks and meet up there eventually).
Bdolski remembers the comic way better than I do. He should know.Comment
