Re: Arrow (Season 2)
Finally got to watch both episodes. I think both were great as usual. As is the custom, discussion in spoilers.
SpoilerFor a brief moment, I thought when Ollie took of Brother Blood's mask, it was going to be Laurel's dad. I knew it wouldn't be Sabastian, but I didn't know who it was going to be. Sinn actually didn't look bad as a prostitute. Roy having super strength is intriguing. Shrapnel got handled pretty easily lol. I wonder if at some point, they add the white over Green Arrow's eyes, like screens. Not a must, but it would look badass. Another spoiler for an extremely large picture.SpoilerBoston Red Sox

Re: Arrow (Season 2)
Great episode....again.
SpoilerAt first I was like meh the typical superhero rehash of a previous villain plot with a different villain, but it took a nice turn with helping out Roy figure things out. Then a final solid 10 min ending to set up more things in the future.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: Arrow (Season 2)
Good episode last night but man was I hoping for some more Roy/Arsenal/Speedy/Red Arrow character development.
In addition to the great fight scenes, the scenes at Moira's campaign announcement and between Felicity and Moira were phenomenal and exceptionally written and acted (all be it a bit overacted by Rickards talking about her family, but that was a lot of emotion to wedge into one scene) in my opinion.
The scene between Oliver and Moira was a bit of a let down though. Didn't feel like it had the same emotion as the other two I mentioned.
Side note, Why is it off until the 24th?
Roy Pseudo Spoiler
Spoiler
Well this explains why we got no Roy when I thought we would.
It's interesting to note that Roy (Colton Haynes), who also recently joined Team Arrow, was actually supposed to appear on Wednesday's episode, but his epic battle with Nyssa was cut for time. The deleted scene featured Oliver calling on his protégé to protect Laurel at the hospital, where he ends up coming face-to-face with Nyssa when she comes to kidnap Dinah. "Nyssa shoots him with a dart with snake venom and she says, 'A normal person would be dead by now. You're stronger than you look,'" Kreisberg says. "And he says, 'I get that a lot.' They have a fight, but the venom starts to affect him, and she takes him out." Don't worry about missing the scene. Guggenheim teased it would be on the Season 2 DVD.

Re: Arrow (Season 2)
My adventure toward Arrow began nearly a decade ago when I first got my hands on the first four seasons of Smallville. I loved that they eventually brought the Green Arrow into the plot, and when the show ended I have to admit I was a little bit sad. I had seen some of the commercials for Arrow when it first aired, but I have seen several super hero shows that just didn't have the appeal. About 2 months ago I found Arrow on Netflix, and I was hooked. I felt that sense of sadness when I watched the last episode of the first season. Now I am in a bit of a dilemma because Netflix doesn't have any of season 2, and I have already missed a few episodes. I hope to find a method for catching up on those lost episodes so I can continue watching on a regular basis. I should check out the CW website and see if I can catch up on episodes there.Comment

Re: Arrow (Season 2)
That's the only thing I could think of but didn't know the Olympics would rate that strongly, especially with the CW crowd. But noticed that Supernatural and Arrow were both going on the same break.Comment

The press conference scene was well done, it took me a second to figure out where the speech was heading and when he walked off had me like:

Re: Arrow (Season 2)
It seems like they started off reserved about bringing in other named heroes/villains, maybe worried the series didn't have legs and didn't want to burn characters (similar to what Marvel seems to be doing with Agents of Shield) they could use later and only bringing in lower names almost like they were testing the water. Apparently they have decided that the water is fine and there has been a flood of not only big name characters but development of those characters as well.Comment
