    OS Man Caves

I did a little searching and have seen a few individual topics about "Top Man Caves" and "What should I get for my Man Cave"...but there are no threads for us to show off our own Man Caves...so I made one.

Talk about what you have in yours (pics are definitely encouraged), what you wish you could have, etc.

Mine is under construction (literally, the house isn't done yet, about to start drywall soon) but I have been spending the summer saving up and buying items to go in it.

I plan on building a shelf/bar around the TV, with a couch/recliners facing it with a side table and a coffee table. Each of the table tops will be decorated with beer labels (been saving for well over a year now, have almost 300 DIFFERENT labels) and bottle caps. Then will have sports memorabilia around the room.

I now have (some I purchased, some I have had for a while)...
-Autographed Paul Coffey game-used hockey stick
-Auto'd Brett Favre SI from his ORIGINAL retirement (from the Pack)
    -Auto'd Aaron Rodgers Mini Helmet
    -Auto'd Tajh Boyd Mini Helmet
-Original SI from Clemson's 1981 title
    -Auto'd Kenny Lofton baseball
-Original line-up card from a 1999 Indians game (back when Lofton, Manny, Thome, the Alomars, etc. played)
-Original Inaugural Season Charlotte Hornets team poster
-In the process of getting 9-12 Auto'd Charlotte Hornets basketball cards to display together.
    -Auto'd Glen Rice shoe
    -Dirt from Lambeau Field
-Race used tire from Hendrick Motorsports (back when Gordon, T. Labonte, Ricky Craven were there)
-A few coffee table books, 2 Lombardi Coaching books and a 1960s scrapbook from the Clemson vs S.Carolina rivalry.

I am sure I've left out some of the older items I've had since childhood. I also plan on doing something with the closet in the room since I won't need it for storage in there and it is large enough to put something of use in it.

One item I REALLY REALLY want which was on eBay for a while is a pair of Charlotte Coliseum seats, they were a touch out of my price range but I was starting to save up for them when the seller stopped posting them. I am considering hanging a few of my Packers jerseys as well (probably the Favre and White authentics).

I look forward to posting pics of the process and the final product when I'm done.

So fellow OSers, show us what you have in your Cave!

I have the ultimate Philadelphia Phillies man cave in my finished basement. I have posted some pics of it on OS in the past, but I will take some new pics and post them.

Mine is slowly coming together, still have a lot of furniture to get.
Have a CJ Spilled auto'd jersey and some football game worn pants I'm gonna frame and put between the Sammy auto and the Championship SI on the Clemson wall...along with a couch and side table on that wall. Looking for a chair/loveseat for the hornets wall, building a minibar to go under the packers shelf. The Indians lineup card and Lofton ball are on the wall with the tv, I'm gonna get more Tribe stuff for the other side of the tv, gonna get a tv stand/entertainment center too. I have a race used tire from Hendrick Motorsports that I'm going to make into a coffee table.

Its been a slow process, but I'm very happy with it so far.

Aside for that "organge stuff" , nice work. Really like all the old school Charlotte Hornets memorabilia. Very well done.

Looks good man! I'll take some new pictures of my Phillies man cave and post them. I've updated it from the last time I posted pics on OS.

            Re: OS Man Caves

I uploaded that stuff from my phone so its hard to tell what some of it is, here is a rundown of whats there:

            Hornets wall:
Original team picture from the first season, 12 auto'd cards from some Hornet greats (Muggsy, Rex Chapman, Dell Curry, Baron Davis, Vlade Divac, Kendall Gill, LJ, Eddie Jones, Jamal Mashuburn, Zo, JR Reid and Kelly Tripuka) a Glen Rice game worn auto'd shoe, Rex Chapman Starting lineup figure, Media Guide from the first season, and Hornets Court Rug. I had seen a while back a pair of seats from the Charlotte Coliseum online but I didnt have the money for them at the time, if they ever show back up for sale I am going to jump on them to put as the extra seating.

On the same wall I have the App St stuff above the closet.

            TV wall:
This will be my indians wall, with the Kenny Lofton auto'd ball and the 1999 official lineup card with a lot of great players on it. I'm looking at a few different items to get for the other side of the tv.

On this same wall under the window I have a game used auto'd Paul Coffey hockey stick.

            Packers wall:
my Packers stock, Rodgers signed mini helmet, dirt from Lambeau, Favre figure, Reggie White figure, Favre jersey with a signed SI from his retirement from the Packers, Reggie White jersey that I hope to put an auto'd item with sometime.

            Clemson wall:
Signed Sammy Watkins pic, original SI from Clemsons FB title. The Spiller jersey and pants will go in the huge gap in the middle. Signed Boyd mini helmet will go on the side table.

I took some new pics of my Phillies man cave a few minutes ago. Gonna put each one under a spoiler. Not sure how big the pics will be. Enjoy! I put a lot of work into it over the past 3 years.

Thanks man. Lucky to have a wife who was willing to let me take the whole basement and do that when we moved here. She's a keeper.

Yea, same here. I had wanted a mancave when we were looking at homes and when we sat down with the builder to discuss this floorplan I was stoked when the wife (fiance at the time) told me I could have the downstairs room (would normally be a guest room) as my cave.

Not much but gets me away from the wife and kid when I need a break haha

I forgot to mention I have a nice Samsung sound bar to mount under the tv which I will attempt to do in the next day or so.

So I have to ask, why didn't you mount the TV over where the desk is?
