    Amazing Race Season 23

Season starts Sunday September 29th at its usual 8pm(unless Golf or NFL or ANYTHING else gets delayed for even a minute, cause then Amazing Race gets delayed as well.......) timeslot.

That's the thing I hate. Amazing Race gets delayed like crazy every week. It is in the worst possible timeslot ever. CBS should really just start Amazing Race at 8:30pm every week in the fall season(and 60 mins starts at 7:30) just so that they leave room for possible delays(since delays always happen) from 7-7:30.

After how last season ended...This one will be real hard to top. Bates/Anthony were one of my fave teams on Amazing Race, so it was great to see them win(cause I haven't had any team I wanted to win(since episode 1) that actually won in quite some time)

    Cast list revealed
Phil Keoghan invites BIG BROTHER’s fiercest former competitors to embark on a trek around the world for a chance to win $1 million....

Fairly old cast compared to other shows. Only 3 people are 25 or younger.
Ally/Ashley-LA Kings crew girls(cleaning hockey rink ice in LA...must be alot of work. Especially for the upcoming outdoor game in several months). I'm guessing they won't do good.

Brandon/Adam-Friends(they remind me of James/Abba from last year)

Chester/Ephraim-Former NFL teammates(the typical atheltes on many seasons)

Hoskote/Naina-Father+Daughter(the father of this team is 60,wonder how he'll do)

Jason/Amy-Dating(They're dating..we all know how many people dating do on Amaznig Race)

Leo/Jamal-Cousins(They seem like they'll be the competitive team of season)

Nicole + Kim-Baseball Wives(Nicoles husband is Chris Getz. Kims husband is David DeJesus)

Rowan + Shane-Business Partners(Seems like another team that'll do bad)

Tim + Daniel-Oilfield Operators(Could be a team that finishes near bottom but never gets eliminated?)

Tim + Marie-Exes(Sounds like they'll be the aruging team of the season)

Travis + Nicole-Married(They're Physicians, though they remind me of a team on Amazing Race Canada, who was real annoying lol)

A bunch of hotties this season huh?

I'll be pulling for David De Jesus' wife.

Also Majingir have you been watching the Canadian version? I'm up to episode 6 and so far my favorite team is the two meatheads who I thought I'd hate at the start.

Ya, I'm watching Canadian season, whatever was most recent episode is last one I saw. This season unlike USA seasons, has alot of likeable people(Jet/Dave,Tims and Jody/Cory are the teams I want to win). I hate those two girls though. They suck, but are still in the game somehow. It's like they fluke their way in each challenge.

I think this week is the final show before the season finale. I just wish BB Canada got the treatment that Amazing Race Canada got. Amazing Race Canada is on CTV, while BB is on SliceTV(no name channel that isn't even in HD)

I think I'm caught up now. Just finished episode 7. It was my favorite episode yet cuz of the huskies!

Not sure why you hold being bad against the girls yet root for the Tim's who have been saved twice by non-elimination rounds though. Though I guess one reason could be that they start crying whenever they have to do something hard.

^To be fair, the girls would've been eliminated a long time ago too if it wasn't for the express pass they got(only reason they got express pass is cause the other team decided to give it to the worst team)

And speaking of getting mad...HOW are those doctors even doctors?!? The first sign of trouble, they panic and want to give up! Especially Holly, she cries and goes crazy the second something wasn't going how she wanted it to go.

That's the first thing I noticed. Pretty older crowd this time around.

Hard to get a feel until we're a few episodes in, hopefully will be entertaining.

With Amazing Race Canada, is it not as enjoyable when they're just traveling in Canada? I wasn't a big fan of the Family Amazing Race just set in US because you don't get as much cultural confusion....

Everyone in Canada speaks English, it's more obvious where to go, etc....

                Just wondering what you thought...

^Language might be the same, but look at all the diff things they've done. They've done some things with real warm weather, other times they've gone and done freezing cold challenges in snow/ice.

That's something USA won't be able to do as much of.

And speaking same language(except in Quebec) makes the show focus less on things like taxis, mistranslation in directions, and much more on the actual competitions themselves. Whoever advances does so because they were better at the detours/roadblocks than others. Unlike in USA version, where someone might be eliminated just because they got on a later flight,or their taxi is stupid(and states they know where they're taking you,but then like 10 mins later, they stop and ask for directions at a gas station while filling up their tank....).

Speaking of which..that's something I wanna know. If a taxi driver gets lost(or takes a washroom break while they're driving you) do you actually have to pay for that...Cause it seems like taxis are huge scams if that's the case. Any driver can just state they know where something is, drive around forever and then charge you like twice as much as it would've cost. How/Why do people ever become taxi drivers if they don't even know where anything in their city is. Amazing Race USA never chooses unknown locations in a country, they choose fairly popular places.

Amazing Race Canada is doing something USA one surprisingly hasn't done.Right after the finale, they're having a reunion show like Survivor does.

lol, the girls actually made it into the final 3. This reminds me of USA season last year(I believe it was last year) where those goat farmers made it to the finals(and won) despite sucking the entire race.

If those girls actually win......That'd be 2nd biggest upset in Amazing Race history!

I'm no longer reading other sites opinions of Amazing Race Canada. There's 1 site specifically that is doing nothing but bashing the season AND Canada! They're ripping on the entire country and going as far as to calling the entire country certain things....Though I guess it's expected since that site is a horrible one(they also bash USA seasons of Big Brother,Amazing Race,Survivor). I'm not gonna mention their name cause of how horrible they are.

                            Spoiler
win Amazing Race Canada. Both USA and Canada season in 2013 have been great. Hopefully this season of Amazing Race continues that trend!

This version of Amazing Race is probably the least excited I have been for one. I'll still watch the first episode, and if I find a team I like, I'll go from there. There really isn't anyone appealing to me on paper though.
