Wow another very good episode...James Spader is just killing this role. Dude steals every scene he is in. Love his character...you feel that he is really dangerous but yet so cool and laid back.

Haven't seen ep 2 yet, but my wife and I really like this show. We were worried Spader would appear to be somewhat creepy, but he comes off more mysterious than creepy.

Definitely will be tuning in from here on out!

I am hoping she doesn't turn out to be his daughter, that's super obvious. Won't ruin much, just wishful thinking.

You will definitely need to see ep 2 and that's all I will say.

Awesome! I love mystery. Have my niece's bday party tonight, but hope to watch this. This and Shield are the 2 shows we love, and some of the other new ones are "eh"

So, are they just gonna let him out in public every episode for an easy escape?

Hey, he gave himself up! He's a treasure trove of information and the most valuable asset of the US government. They will let him out to play. As he says in brilliant Spader style, "The FBI works for me." (hilarious)

Shouldn't be an easy escape, but Spader doesn't seem to have many weaknesses.....yet.

If this show was a Netflix original I would of watched it in a day.

lol, I'm just afraid every episode will follow the same flow. I've loved it so far, although I didn't understand how they fell for the HAZMAT scene in the pilot. I mean, they didn't block off the route? Weren't concerned at all about an unplanned detour by a HAZMAT team?

Also, I agree with Roadman, agent Keen is smokin hot

I like Spader. I want to like this show.

But they are taking the stupid good guys and genius bad guys too far. Both episodes have depended on the FBI being idiots and the terrorists with unlimited resources and intelligence.

When Agent Keen decided to hide the box she found, it may have been one step too far in dum-dum land.

I disagree, I think hiding the box buys her some time to figure out what's the play: Is her "husband" a spy, or did Reddington plant that to tear her away from her 'attachments' i.e. the ony one she loves...

I think the latter may be the case, because I think that Reddington is

The same thing a few people were saying about The Following last year. I think the producers tried to address it at the end of the season, and said, we are learning and trying, but we can't catch the bad guys all the time or the season would end quickly.

I notice the bumbles and stumbles, but to me, it's entertainment and Spader is worth it in Spades, like Bacon.

Big fan of Bacon too, but I couldn't hang for The Following.

I was one of those who quit on "The Following" for the reasons you stated above. I don't feel the same way about this show though because it's not some band of college-age wannabe serial killers eluding law enforcement. This time its hardened criminals, terrorists, mercernaries, etc. and these are individuals who the FBI never even knew existed so they do not know their hangouts, their specialties, country of origin, religion, etc. etc.

Oh, I understand, it's just that I just don't get that deep with thinking when it comes to TV. After working a hard day at work, I just want to be entertained, whether it's the The Following, Big Bang, The Blacklist or the Packers beating the Eagles. lol jk on the last one.

Even in this show, the FBI is being duped by Spader in two episodes quite a few times, but that doesn't bother me.
