Yeah I agree. Something is up. I hope he turns out be something because he seems to much like the woman in that relationship.

There is something going on with him (Red has his suspicions) but I doubt that it turns out he's a total villain.
There is a difference, though. My wife works late as it is, but if she was pregnant and working late, I wouldn't get fed up and drink with some gal I just met. He should know his wife's hours are different, just like I know my wife's hours are long.

Isn't this gal the same one Red looked up on the FBI computer during the fall season?

If it is, Tom's character is becoming more interesting by the minute. I think we'll find out a lot about Tom's character after the Olympics.

        You're right.

Tom knew Lizzie was a FBI agent (or going to be)...I get what he's asking for and why, but shouldn't he realize that a lot of people in these types of positions sacrifice personal life things?

Also lame if he hits this new chick just cause he's mad. Will be interesting to see who she is...

            Re: The Blacklist

It's fun to speculate on the whole Tom thing, but let's face it...this show's "Bible" was created by some clever people who are a few steps ahead of all of what we've seen and "think" we know...

            That being said:

Early on, Red didn't have much cred with Lizzie, so his insistence that Tom wasn't who or what he appears to be was met with healthy (and much deserved) skepticism...

But since then (correct me if I'm wrong) Red hasn't really mislead or tried to manipulate her about much of anything...

He also hasn't been harping to her about it...subtle reminders and cryptic bon mots since his original "big reveal"...

            Also:

The Tom character is a little "much", even for TV...

            Talk about "gender reversal"...

A kindergarten teacher, who is obsessed with parenthood and a "white picket fence", (Nebraska, anyone?) even though he supposedly full well knew who he was in a relationship with and that her career trajectory would likely be at odds with that...

He's also a little to "male model" looking, for his supposed backstory even for TV...

Hell, even his fake glasses look fake...

Lastly, he's comfortable rolling out with the sketchy new chick, because he's in a "deep cover" fake relationship...

So, what difference does it make?

            At least that's my take...

And I'm sure I'm dead wrong, because that SEEMS to be what the writers want me to think!

That is what I love about this show.

There are riddles and puzzles to be answered and once they are answered, new riddles and puzzles will pop up.

              It's entertaining as hell.

Not enough Red in the last episode imo.

Gotta say they nailed the music once again, too.

The irony of the FBI Chief stating the Red is amoral, bad***, but without him.....................

I thought tonight's episode was one of the better ones thus far. The crime was atrocious and the impact of it on Keane was crushing. Great episode tonight.

First time I saw that commercial, I didn't pay too much attention to what was said and thought for sure it was a car commercial.
