    Americans is the best show currently airing in my opinion. It blows House of Cards out of the water. There is tension, characters act consistently or when they don't, you clearly understand their motives for doing so. Multiple storylines develop and arcs are completed. And I really enjoy that each season explores one or more themes and does so through various plotlines.

            Well it's User IMBD rating (8.2) is equal to mega-hit Empire and just below The Good Wife (8.3). I don't think it's a question of the public not liking the show, they just don't watch it.
