Damn, he was an amazing actor. I know he had drug problems, but they seemed to come to a head recently. While I liked him in other roles, I'll still remember him for The Big Lebowski.

I don't understand it. You have these talented actors who could buy whatever they want. And they choose to buy drugs to destroy their lives. I don't understand it, and I doubt I ever will.

I just watched Leap of Faith a few weeks ago.

I really enjoyed his acting, it's sad to see such a talented guy go out like that.

What does a major movie like The Hunger Games do when a key (I am assuming never read the books) member of their film dies? I know they are filming now, but there is still two movies to go. I guess they will recast him. Didnt this happen to a major character in Harry Potter films?

RIP. He was a fantastic actor. Im sorry his life took a turn to drugs. I wish his family strength during this time.

I knew he had been clean & sober for 23 years, but fell back into it in 2012. I remember he went to rehab. Too bad it didn't work out. Love his work.

What does a major movie like The Hunger Games do when a key (I am assuming never read the books) member of their film dies? I know they are filming now, but there is still two movies to go. I guess they will recast him. Didnt this happen to a major character in Harry Potter films?

Dumbledore's actor from the first two died.

Luckily for them, they had a doppleganger still alive in Ian McKellan and didn't miss a beat.

Also, Blzer, Lionsgate said they're not going to recast him as most of his scenes were finished.
