They must have gotten some backlash after the price increase.

"The Sopranos," "Six Feet Under," "Deadwood" and many other HBO classics will be made available to subscribers of Amazon Prime on May 21, the two companies announced Wednesday. HBO signed a deal with Amazon to make its archive of television programs available for streaming for Prime customers. This is the first time HBO content has been available on an online-only streaming service.

As someone that has never watched Soproanos, but have really wanted to, this may get me to renew my membership. Damn you Amazon.

Got mine locked in at $39 and I guess they could go back on their word, but it says right on my account that it is $49 on 4/20/15. They'll keep me until at least 2016. I've seen the Sopranos but that's nice to have available again. Wish Big Love was included in that list.

The Complete Sopranos and The Wire collection is not bad. They let me do another free 30 day trial (??) so I'll take a look at parts of these classics again.

I just subscribed to Prime. They won't charge me for another month, but I've been wanting to watch some HBO shows and I can't get HBO GO. It seems like a really good value combined with the site deals.

Now I'll get to finally watch The Sopranos, Boardwalk Empire, and catch up on Justified. I wish they had Homeland. I watched the first season a few months ago and haven't got to see Season 2 yet.

Definitely not nearly the selection of Spotify. I searched my 3 favorite bands (Randy Rogers Band, Emery, Rise Against) and of the three only had one album which was Rise Against's latest b-side release. I know RRB no one has never heard of, but the other two I think are pretty well known so that was surprising.

If they wanted to raise prices to add all these services, they should have made a tiered subscription. In the end, it will just cost them my business.

I always thought RRB was pretty well known but I'm also from Texas.
