    Re: Fargo

So this will be set in 1979 and feature Molly's mom. Fargo season 1 was set in 2006.

Interesting with Plemons (Todd-Breaking Bad) playing Kirsten Dunst's husband.

Too bad I'll have to wait almost a year.

You guys really think Kirsten is that bad? She's no Rebecca Romijn, but I don't think she's at goblin level.

Her face bothers me but I just find her annoying as hell overall.

Cohen Brothers films (and their derivatives) aren't exactly known for "eye candy" actresses, as much as they are known for using "actor's actors"...

Dunst's background suggests the latter, as opposed to the former...

"Small town beautician, set in Sioux Falls SD, circa 1976?"

Yeah, I think she can handle that...

Season 2 has been moved up to October.

In the first video "Todd of Breaking Bad infamy" looks like he has put on some weight. In the second one it's strange that Ted Danson's distinctive voice is all but gone.

EDIT: First trailer removed from YouTube, better trailer added.

I guess moving "up" is good but damn if I didn't think this would be coming in the next month or so.

Well, I did a 180 on this and binge watched Season 1. I think I was just in a "better place" to watch it and glad I did. The writing, casting, cinematography was all phenomenal. I'm in the middle of S02 now and unfortunately S01 set the bar so high, it's hard to live up to it.

I understand why you would say that, but by binge watching them, I'm comparing them as much as I can "side to side". I think when we watch something over time and then a lapse of time goes by, the new can tend to seem better. But I understand it's a preference. I am pleasantly surprised how much better Season 2 improved with each episode. Ep 8 was great with Dunst matter of fact approach while at the cabin. Hilarious.
