I liked Season 1 more too.

Re: Fargo
Ok....so went back and watched S 01 with my son and have a couple of questions about the insertion of some elements.
Prior to Lester is being released to go home with the FBI agents, he confronts Molly about having it out for him. She answers with the allegory about the guy who drops his glove at the train station and then throws his remaining glove out on the platform so that someone can use the pair instead of having one glove. Not understanding her reference there, other than indirectly she's saying that Lester is the kind of guy who would hold on to the one glove versus letting someone else have both, i.e., he's a ****.
The other is the use of the rabbit/fox/cabbage riddle that Key and Peele are going round and round about and then Lester solves it. Wasn't sure what the significance was of that other than that Lester is not as dumb as he plays up as being.Comment

Re: Fargo
Season 2 was more intense. I liked the mob angle and thought that Billy Bob and Mike Milligan were equally spectacular.Comment

I'd say your assumptions about both are on point...
1) Molly is telling Lester she "has his number" and he's not who he appears to be, etc...
2) Lester is not only smarter than he seems, but is more devious / dangerous / cold blooded, etc...
Granted, I haven't seen these episodes since their original air date, but those are the impressions that lasted from those scenes...Comment

Re: Fargo
Ewan McGregor will play brothers Emmit and Ray Stussy in the third season of Fargo. Emmit is the rich "parking-lot king" of Minnesota while slightly younger Ray is a balding, bitter, potbellied parole officer.
Although the third season is set only a few years after season one there will be no actors for that series reprising their role in the latest offering. I'm hearing a spring 2017 debut which would make it just under a year and a half since the season 2 series finale.Comment
