Well we don't know if this will be on Network TV, Cable, HBO, or what.

I grew up in the 80s too and nudity was definitely part of what made the Friday the 13th movies cool, but I think the series will be going a different direction than how the movies were done. I think it will be more story driven and will have less shock value. I don't think lack of nudity will hurt the show.

As a fan of the movies, I think it's an odd, but exciting route to take. I'm not sure what they will do to remake Jason's origins for the small screen, but I'll be there to see it.

With that said, I'm not sure where you got the "all but confirmed" part for the found footage. All I've seen is that it's a possible route, but that's it. I wouldn't be opposed to that actually, but I am a fan of the "less is more" approach for horror movies. I hope they offer the role to Derek Mears, though.

      It should be interesting.

EDIT: I forgot about the old TV show. That thing was goofy because it just borrowed the name/brand of F13, but had less than nothing to do with the movies. It had some good stories, though.

The Last of Us is the Citizen Kane of video-games. It is better than every game that has ever come before it, and is the new benchmark for all games to follow. It is nothing short of a work of art.

Everything I've read has mentioned found footage. There are links in the movie thread on here. Its still being mentioned in every article that mentions the movie. If you do some research you'll see why I say that.

Trust me, I wish I wasn't seeing it. I'm not a fan of that style.

I tend not to put much stock in most horror sites when it comes to rumors. Brad Fuller's most recent comments said it was being explored, that's all. That does not equal confirmation. But I digress.

I wonder how the show will approach Jason. I would be okay with him having a secondary, background role in it. He shouldn't be the focus. Too much of him is not a good thing. I would rather a separate story/stories taking place in Crystal Lake with the audience (and characters) aware that he's out there, lurking. His interaction should be minimal, at least at first. I also wonder who will play Pamela.

After watching this season of The Americans.. TV can do some very tricky camera work to get around nudity and still get the point across
