I was hoping they'd shy away from the "cooperating with law enforcement" angle, especially as a/the major arc. I was surprised Boxer Donavan gave up Mick.

Wendell Pierce can only be a good thing for this show. A really solid episode. I was hoping the FBI guy was into some sick "stuff" but that would have been too easy.

I could care less about Ray's extracurricular activities. The newspaper girl bores me, but is probably necessary to get from point A to B.

Mick has been underused this year. Avi and Lena are too cool not to have more screen time.

Wendell Pierce rocks no matter how long he's on.

The only subplot that interests me right now is Ray vs the FBI guy. The rest of the stuff this season isn't really doing it for me.

I don't think they've used Wendell Pierce enough. Abby is useless this year. The kids are making AJ on The Sopranos look good (except for the pizza/coke scene). Mickey (Voight) is having a sophomore slump. They haven't done a great job of dealing with the messed up brothers. At this point killing the nurse might be a better option then a new life in Ireland.

That being said I'm glad they just renewed it for season 3!!

EDIT: Abby is USELESS not useful.

That is kinda what I mean. The son right now is useless. He pushed that kid and then pretty much nothing. His daughter was active early in the season and the Marvin storyline will at some point involve gun play. Mickey and Wendell should've had great chemistry and interaction but they have been poorly developed. Ezra is more annoying than anything right now. I don't know, I really enjoyed season 1, but this one is just "okay" so far. The reporter was interesting, but they got rid of that too fast IMO.

Ezra is annoying and I will add useless. I wasn't a big fan of his in season 1. Mickey and Wendell P. didn't even get off the ground, but it could've been something.

This one had Ray at his most vulnerable but I'm wondering if they're trying to set him up as desperate enough to seek help from the rich motivational guy?

The party was wild, if not a little too chaotic. I still say it was the best this season.
