Now we're gonna really see the transition to Saul Goodman.

Yeah, i was pissed at what Chuck did especially what Jimmy has done to take care of him.

And yes, another awesome episode for bad *** Mike. That whole parking garage scene was classic.

I know I wasn't the only one who saw the title of last night's episode and immediately thought "Mike's got another sandwich, huh."

I could see Jimmy changing his name just to spite Chuck after what Chuck revealed.

Mike is so calculated. For all the excitement action films get, I've always favored the films with guys like Mike. That's part of what makes this show so damn good.

As for Chuck, I don't even consider what Jimmy has done for him. It now shows us why the scenes taking place in the past were so important outside of some background. It just shows that Chuck has never trusted Jimmy. Never saw potential in him and never regarded him as a capable human being.

I don't even think this is where Jimmy changes. But I do think it's where he starts to worry about himself only. It's definitely a domino that starts the rise (or fall).

I think this is what turns him into Saul. Its all comes down to the McGill name. Chuck's name is huge in the Albuquerque legal community and as we saw last week anytime that name comes up with other lawyers in ABQ, they think of Chuck. I think Jimmy wants nothing to do with his brother now. I'll be shocked if he doesnt think of the name change next week.

Well, what's the question? That this is what makes him think of changing his name or this is what makes him go the darker route to success?

I don't think it's one in the same.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't he already "thought" of the name? If I'm remembering correctly, in one of the flashbacks to Slippin' Jimmy (the watch scene), wasn't he explaining the name? "S'all good, man!"

So I think Saul is already in there, we were just waiting for the event to make him come out.

I'd guess that (based on the preview for the finale), we'll see him regress back to Slippin' Jimmy next week, and season 2 will get into Saul, wheeling and dealing

Yeah it was brutal, but also pretty prophetic knowing Saul Goodman.

Obviously I'm not defending what Chuck did. That was awful. My guess is eventually Jimmy gets to go head to head with him competing for a case and that's when he goes "full Saul"
