Did well enough considering the effort I put forward.

Amazon price matched Alien: Isolation (30), Evil Within(25), and Shadow of Mordor(25).

Picked up a 32" Samsung 1080p Smart TV for mom and dad off Amazon as well. She had mentioned wanting a new tv for their guest room.

Accomplished all that tax free, no lines, and with free shipping. All while laying on the couch watching movies.

Miss me with hitting up a store on Thanksgiving weekend.

All I grabbed was Mad Men the final season part 1 and Gravity on Blu-ray for $15 total, and a mini displayport to displayport adapter cable for $7. Hoping that on Cyber Monday there are some nice sales on a good 10 inch tablet for the woman. Not really looking for too much this season.

Was able to get Amazon to price match Toys R US current price of $9.99 for Edge of Tomorrow 3D. Saved me a 2hr round trip to get a PM at the closest Walmart that has it in stock. Probably would have lived with the 2D version.


Kicking myself for not purchasing a couple of those Prime 1 year credits at $79 before the price hike. (At the time, SC was finalizing a deal to bring Amazon to the state and start charging taxes. Still no taxes yet. )

Decided to check Amazon's Lightning Deals before bed...got a season of House of Cards for $8 (list price was $37), Argo for $1, and Divergent for $6. Pretty happy with that.

Bought a 42" Vizio Smart TV for our daughter for $300.00 at Sams Club one minute after midnight on Nov. 27th.

Tried to get a diamond from Kay's Jewelers for my wife. She picked it out before hand and was told she would get a great deal on black Friday. Didn't even come close to our final figure.

Mom and I are going 50-50 to buy my dad the PS4 bundle that comes with GTA and Last of Us for $399.

Is it bad that I spent that much on my dad and all I got my mom was a Raggedy Anne doll and a really nice christmas figurine (like Precious Moments)? She loves that kinda stuff but the amount I spent on her is nowhere near the $399 lol

You're gonna enjoy HoC. I still have 3 episodes to go in the first season. Glad I gave the show a chance. Kevin Spacey is very good in this.

Missed out on any 3D movies. Got the 2D versions instead. Should have done better research on that part

My big haul was an Xbone with a kinect, ryse, dance central, forza 5, and halo master chief collection. $329 regular, but %10 off with Discover cashback. Got my mom a Kindle Fire HDX, and girlfriend a Yamaha keyboard.

A lot cheaper than last year overall.

Ended with a the 55 tv from target for above the fireplace for 400 and Fifa from best buy for 30. Oh and a 1 in all trimmer from kohls for 15.

I can always appreciate a good vacuum. I'm a big fan of the Shark vacuums.
