No love for From Russia With Love? I've always enjoyed that one. On Her Majesty's Secret Service is probably my favorite outside of the Craig films.

I always thought Pierce Brosnan got a bum rap because he got saddled with two of the worst Bond movies of all-time with Tomorrow Never Dies and Die Another Day. I loved GoldenEye and The World Is Not Enough.

Brosnan is the Anti-Craig as he really got the shaft. They started off so promising though as he was giving off the vibe of a fluffier Connery but by the end of his run he became all the excesses and problems of the Moore run x10.

I agree. Aside from Connery, Brosnan "looked" and "acted" the way I pictured Bond. He fit the mold, but was saddled with crap(I actually liked Tomorrow Never Dies). Dalton also gets a bad rap, when he was Craig before his time.

As for others listing movies, I'm a big fan of The Spy Who Loved Me and For Your Eyes Only. Most of Roger Moore's movies had comedy in them, but both are solid movies.

You'd do well to rewatch it. The train fight is one of the most iconic fight scenes in Bond history.

Yeah the Brosnan films aside from Goldeneye were overproduced trash.

I don't ever want to see the Bond series go back to that style of film/writing. Terrible.

I've had it since Christmas and have never watched any of them. Need to go through them myself.

Last Brosnan one, Die Another Day? Worst Bond movie I've seen. Worse than A View To a Kill, Moonraker and even the unofficial Bond movie "Never Say Never Again". Way too much CGI, stupid plot, more of a generic action movie you could put anyone in.

On the note of the Bond movies though, I forgot about Diamonds are Forever. Connery is older, but I actually really like the movie. Something about it feels "off" and kind of goofy.

Diamonds is a proto-Live and Let Die IMO.

Some of the song placement in the Connery Bond films was really strange. I think it's in Goldfinger where he first goes into his hotel room and he's sort of casually looking around while the intense "durnd durnd durnd durnd durnd..." music is playing (as if it was a chase or something).
